| dc.description.abstract | Para continuar con el perfil de investigación y desarrollo de nuevas tecnologías con que cuenta la Universidad, se ha planteado este proyecto de consulta bibliográfica para la biblioteca central. Tesis que busca llevar a la plataforma móvil5 a través de los Servicios Web XML el servicio de prestación de libros con que cuenta la Universidad actualmente. Mejora que puede llegar a ser muy útil y beneficiosa para un excelente apoyo al desarrollo de la academia. Adicionalmente, se busca la profundización el área de una de las formas de integración de plataformas heterogéneas más importantes que se han creado hasta la fecha y que representan una tecnología creciente como lo son los Servicios Web XML. Con este proyecto se busca otorgarle a la comunidad universitaria6 la libertad de poder consultar el archivo de materiales bibliográficos que tiene disponible la biblioteca central en sus instalaciones, sin que sea necesario desplazarse físicamente hasta ellas. Se ha transformado en una necesidad, el hecho de poder acceder en tiempo real a través de un dispositivo móvil, la descripción de los libros que tiene disponible la biblioteca en temas relacionados con las diferentes carreras que se cursan en la universidad, esta información permite a los usuarios de la biblioteca ahorrar tiempo, al admitir que la persona que realiza la consulta tenga conocimiento de primera mano y desde virtualmente cualquier lugar7 . Asimismo se puede saber si el libro, tesis o revista que esta buscando se encuentra en la biblioteca de la universidad y de su disponibilidad para ser sacado en calidad de préstamo. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | In order to continue with the development and investigation profile of new technologies which the university has, the consultation of bibliographical resources for the central library project has been proposed. This thesis points to take the mobile platform9 through the XML Web Services the book lending service which is provided by the university actually. This improvement might become really useful y beneficial for an excellent support to the academy. Additionally, it’s looked for the deepening in the area of one of the most important ways for heterogeneous platform integration that have been created so far and represents a growing technology such as the XML Web Services. This project tries to give to the university community10 the freedom to find in the bibliographical resources database available in the central library facilities, without being necessary to get physically there. The power to access in real time by a mobile device has became essential, this information allows library users save time, because it permits the person search on the database so it can have first hand results and virtually from any place11. Furthermore, the person might know if the book, thesis o review the person is looking for is placed in the university library and the availability in order to be loaned. | |
