dc.description.abstract	Basados en la experiencia vivida durante su paso por la universidad, en que los autores tuvieron la oportunidad de trabajar y enseñar la definición de límite, pudieron notar cómo estudiantes y profesores tienen diferentes inconvenientes al momento de aprender y enseñar este importante concepto. Concientes de esto, se plantearon la siguiente pregunta de investigación: ¿Cómo podemos facilitar y optimizar el proceso enseñanzaaprendizaje del concepto de límite? En torno a este interrogante se trazaron como objetivo principal construir una estrategia metodológica que contribuya a mejorar el aprendizaje del concepto de límite. Teniendo en cuenta una noción bastante generalizada del concepto de límite y las diferentes investigaciones didácticas relacionadas, realizaron una investigación en el aula de tipo cualitativa, en la que plantean y ejecutan una propuesta, con un curso de 30 estudiantes de Cálculo I en la Universidad Industrial de Santander. Con esa propuesta se logró llevar a los estudiantes a experimentar el proceso de ﬁhacer matemáticas, permitiendo que se sintieran parte activa y fundamental de la clase; de esta forma lograron eliminar la creencia que manejan los estudiantes acerca de este concepto como un tema mecánico y difícil de tratar, donde muchas veces se hacen las cosas sin entenderlas.
dc.description.abstractenglish	Based on the experience lived throughout the university, where we had the chance to work and teach the definition of Limit; we could realize how both students and teachers have different problems when teaching or learning this concept. Aware of this, we state the following investigation question: How can we make the teaching-learning process of he limit concept easier and better? In relation to this question, we have as the main objective, to build a methodological strategy that contributes to improve the learning process of the limit definition. Having into account a very general idea of the concept of limit and the different didactic investigations related, we made a qualitative research in the classroom, where we stated and executed a proposal with a course of 30 students of Calculus I at the Universidad Industrial de Santander. With this proposal, we could make the students to experiment the process of ﬁmaking math, making them feel an active and esencial part in the process. Thus, there was a change in the students™ belief of this concept as a mechanical and hard-to-deal topic, where most of the times they do things without understanding
