dc.description.abstract	El presente artículo tiene como fin describir las actividades ejecutadas como auxiliar de ingeniería civil en el área de geotecnia durante la práctica realizada en la empresa SISMO INGENIERIA P.S S.A.S. Estas labores se llevaron a cabo con el fin de apoyar en el área de proyectos, análisis, interpretación y presentación de resultados de los diferentes ensayos realizados por la empresa. Por último, se expone los proyectos en los cuales se trabajó, que aportes se dieron a cada proyecto y conclusiones, con el fin de comprobar el desarrollo adecuado de la practica empresarial, la cual tenía como objetivo afianzar los conocimientos en el tema de geotecnia adquiridos en el proceso de formación profesional y conocer de cerca el ambiente laboral.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The purpose of this article is to describe the activities carried out as a civil engineering assistant in the geotechnical area during the practice carried out in the company SIMO INGENIERIA PS.S.A.S. These tasks were focused on supporting the analysis, interpretation, and presentation of laboratory results, for the characterization of the soil samples analyzed in the different projects, support in geotechnical design related to the different studies prepared by the firm, in addition to participating in the geotechnical reports. In the same way, the information of the company, theoretical framework, methodology for each of the tasks is mentioned. Finally, the projects that were worked on, contributions and conclusions are exposed, where an adequate development of business practice is verified, facing the reality of the labor field and consolidating the knowledge acquired during professional training.
