dc.description.abstract	Los centros de estudios son organizaciones creadas por los estudiantes para el servicio de los mismos, se encargan del préstamo de libros, implementos deportivos, computadores, video beam y todo lo necesario para el desarrollo integral del estudiante. Desde su creación hasta el día de hoy, todos los procesos que se llevaban se hacían de forma escrita lo que inevitablemente generaba errores, además cada vez que se incrementaba el número de socios, el servicio hacia ellos se hacía más lento, por éste motivo surgió la idea de sistematizar los procesos que se llevaban, con el fin de mejorar el servicio brindado a los socios. Tan pronto como surgió la idea y se aprobó el desarrollo de éste sistema de información como proyecto de grado, se empezó a trabajar en él, pues era una necesidad urgente en la comunidad estudiantil. Para el análisis del sistema, el diseño y la documentación se usó UML y para el desarrollo se usó la metodología en cascada. Para minimizar los costos de desarrollo del proyecto, se usó Software libre; el servidor web fue Apache, para administrar la base de datos se usó MySQL, y como lenguaje de programación se usó PHP. La combinación de Apache, MySQL y PHP es muy usada actualmente, además en el mercado existen paquetes donde vienen incluidos estos tres productos; el paquete que se usó fue AppServ.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The studies Center are organizations developed by students to serve to students, they are responsible for the loan of books, sport tools, computers, video beams, and everything necessary for the integral develop of the student. Since its establishment until nowadays, every process that had been implemented, were made in written form, what inevitably it generated errors, however each time that it rise the number of members, thee service behind of them becomes slow; that is why the idea of systematizing this processes, in order to improve the service provided to members. As soon as the idea was approved, was developed this information system like a thesis, was began to work on it, because it was an urgent necessity in the student community. For the system analysis, design and documentation, this work implements the UML model, and for its develop, was use the Waterfall methodology. For minimize development costs in this project, it was used free software, for instance Apache in the web server, MySQL for date base management, and PHP in the basic programming. The combination between APACHE, MySWL and PHP is the most used in the actually, furthermore in the market there are several package where have been included these three products, This package implemented was APPServ
