| dc.description.abstract | El propósito de este estudio es determinar la factibilidad y la viabilidad en términos técnicos y financieros de una empresa de gomas dulces en el Municipio de Piedecuesta, Santander Œ Colombia, así como el análisis de la externalidades, del impacto ambiental y la evaluación económica en su área de influencia. Inicialmente se presenta un diagnóstico del sector industrial del dulce en Bucaramanga y las expectativas del sector a nivel nacional. Estadísticamente se demostró que las pequeñas fábricas de goma dulce cubren el 80% del mercado, pero ninguna está registrada ante las autoridades competentes. A continuación se realiza un estudio descriptivo y exploratorio, se recurre a fuentes primarias, una encuesta y fuentes secundarias como publicaciones, estudios y registros de la Cámara de Comercio de Bucaramanga, tesis y proyectos universitarios de la Universidad Industrial de Santander y la Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia. Los resultados obtenidos en la investigación de mercados muestran la viabilidad de lanzar la nueva marca y el estudio técnico y financiero avalan la ejecución de este proyecto. Esta empresa se constituirá como unipersonal y de capital privado en la que actúa como gerente el mismo propietario. El proyecto tiene un horizonte de cinco años, y cuenta con los recursos humanos, técnicos y financieros suficientes para iniciar actividades de producción de manera inmediata. Las conclusiones definitivas de este estudio muestran a una empresa con un panorama favorable, que arroja cifras atractivas para el inversionista y genera aportes importantes para el desarrollo social y económico de la región. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | The objective of this paper is to determine the degree of feasibility and viability, in both technical and financial terms, for the establishment of a soft candy gum company at the Municipality of Piedecuesta, Department of Santander, COLOMBIA. This study also includes the analysis of externalities, environmental impact, and economic appraisal in the project area of influence. A diagnosis of the industrial sector regarding candy products in the metropolitan area of Bucaramanga is presented, as well as the expectations of this commercial sector in Colombia. It was demonstrated, from the statistical standpoint, that the existing small soft candy gum factories cover 80% of the market, although none of them is legally registered before any authority. Then, a descriptive and exploratory study was carried out involving the analysis of primary sources, the application of a survey and the study of secondary sources such as publications, research and records found at the Chamber of Commerce of Bucaramanga, as well as theses and university projects carried out by Universidad Industrial de Santander and the outreach section of the National University of Colombia. Results obtained in market research study demonstrate the level of viability for the launching of a new brand in the markets. The results obtained in the technical and financial study support this project. The new company, then, shall be opened with private capital and it shall be owned by one person who is also the manager. The project has a five-year scope and has all the necessary human, technical, and financial resources to initiate its production activities immediately. The final conclusions of this study shows a company with a favorable prognosis that has attractive figures for investors.
