dc.description.abstract	Breve reseña del Proyecto: Debido al comportamiento del sistema estructural tipo túnel ante sismos de grandes magnitudes presentados en países como Chile o Nueva Zelanda, surge la posible comportamiento que tiene este sistema en el ámbito local y así mitigar posibles catástrofes en el futuro. Por lo cual se realiza esté proyecto como un estudio preliminar que pueda ayudar al grupo de investste documento presenta el muestreo y su respectivo análisis estadístico para la caracterización de los muros estructurales que son representativos del sistema estructural tipo túnel de la ciudad de Bucaramanga con el objetivo evidenciar y generar un modelo con las dimensiones más utilizadas de los muros ya mencionados. A su vez se presenta el procedimiento con el cual en base a la caracterización anterior se modela por el método de fibras un muro representativo en el software MIDAS, en el cual se realiza un análisis estático no lineal (Pushover) donde se busca identificar su comportamiento estructural antes de su falla. dc.description.abstractenglish	Project brief: Due to the behavior of the tunnel type structural systems to earthquakes of great magnitudes presented in behavior that this system has in the local ambit and so, mitigate the possible catastrophes in the future. project. This document presents the sampling and its respective statistical analysis for the characterization of the structural walls that are representative of the tunnel type structural system of the city of Bucaramanga, with the objective of showing evidence and generate a model win the most used dimensions of the already mentioned walls. At the same time there is presented the procedure in which the base of the previous characterization is modelled by the fiber method using a representative wall in the MIDAS © software, in which and nonlinear static analysis (pushover) is performed where it is sought to identify its structural behavior before the failure.
