dc.description.abstract	Este trabajo es un homenaje a todos los que están ausentes por causa del conflicto armando que se vivió en la ciudad de Barrancabermeja. La masacre del 16 de mayo de 1998 es una síntesis de la violencia, y a través de ella se aborda el tema de las desapariciones forzadas causadas por el paramilitarismo y la guerrilla, flagelo que azota a nuestro país. Es también, una forma de apoyar la lucha que libran los familiares de las víctimas y todas aquellas personas que se oponen a la guerra o cualquier otro conflicto armado, y que están en este proceso de recuperación de la memoria colectiva. Aquellos seres que se rebelan ante la injusticia, reclamando el derecho a la vida, la dignidad, en busca de la reparación y garantías de no repetición. Su objetivo es mostrar, a través de expresiones artísticas como la performancia, cómo se puede preservar la memoria colectiva de las víctimas, sin recordar el hecho violento. Para esto fue indispensable el apoyo de sus familiares, porque gracias a su ayuda se recopilaron testimonios y una serie de objetos que fueron utilizados por los ausentes y sus
dc.description.abstractenglish	This work is an honoring to all those who are apsent because of the armed conflict (assembling) lived in Barrancabermeja's city. The massacre of May 16 of 1998 is a synthesis of the violence, and across it there is approached the topic of the forced disappearances caused by the paramilitarismo and the guerrilla warfare, scourge that flogs to our country. It is also, a way to supporting the fight of the victims family and all those persons who are opposed to the war or any other armed conflict, that are in the process of recovery the collective memory. Those beings who rebel against the injustice, claiming the right to the life, the dignity, in search of the repair and guarantees of not repetition. The objetive is to show, across artistic expressions as the performancia, how it is possible to preserve the collective memory of the victims, without reminding the violent fact. For this there was indispensable the support of their familys, because thanks to their help there were compiled testimonies and a series of objects that were used by the absent ones and their familys. These objects were put in scene by means of artistic movements, with which it appears, for an instant, that still our dead men and missing persons continue in the memory of the people. In this way we are adding to the fight against the impunity and the oblivion.
