| dc.description.abstract | El proyecto se basa, en el desarrollo metodológico de actividades orientadas al mejoramiento de procesos realizados por la Dirección General de Investigaciones (DGI), su finalidad es el diseño y adaptación de instrumentos que contribuyan a la gestión administrativa de los proyectos de investigación acordes con la política Institucional de Mejoramiento Continuo. El proyecto fundamenta su desarrollo a partir de la importancia de la Investigación en la función de la Universidad, por tal motivo, como punto de partida, se hace un estudio detallado de funciones y roles del personal que labora en la Dirección, para identificar los elementos que dificultan el normal desarrollo de las actividades propias de la dependencia. Para tal propósito, se realizó un estudio detallado de los procesos administrativos que influyen en el desarrollo de la actividad investigativa o que son soporte administrativo a la gestión de la DGI. De otra parte se desarrolló una propuesta de mejora para los procesos administrativos de la DGI que facilite la toma de decisiones en cuanto a la Gestión que se debe desarrollar en los proyectos de investigación, y se establecieron algunas herramientas administrativas para evaluar el desempeño de los procedimientos desarrollados al interior de la DGI. Del análisis realizado, se identificaron y definieron cuatro puntos fundamentales que soportan el diseño de la propuesta de mejora a la DGI, ésta se conforma por un Sistema de Indicadores de Gestión, una estructura de información para el Portal de Internet de la Universidad en materia de investigación, el Manual del Investigador, el Manual de Archivo y una Reasignación Laboral para la dependencia, este desarrollo será finalmente un soporte indispensable para el propósito de fortalecimiento de la Investigación al Interior de la Universidad Industrial de Santander. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | The project is based, in the methodologic development of activities oriented to the processes improvement made by the Researching General Direction (DGI), its purpose is the instruments design and adaptation that contribute to the researching projects administrative management agreed with the Continuous Improvement Institutional policy. The project bases its development from the Investigation importance in the function of the University, by this reason, like departure point, becomes a detailed functions and rolls study of the personnel who toils in the Direction, to identify the elements that they make difficult the normal development of the own activities of this dependency. For such intention, was made a detailed administrative processes study that influence in the researching activity development or administrative support to management of DGI. Of another part was developed a management processes improvement for DGI proposal that facilitates the decision making to the Management that is due to develop in investigation projects, and they established some administrative tools to evaluate the procedures performance developed to the interior of DGI.
