| dc.description.abstractenglish | With the development of this software, it pretends to support the process of teaching and learning, in the area of Telematics and Communications, offering to the student a better understanding and assimilation of the function of the Domain Name System with the User Datagram Protocol by practices included in the software. These practices refer to laboratories with its respective guides, that allow the user to interact with the tool. The methodology used for the elaboration of the tool was the Unified Process of Software Development. The architecture of the tool includes the following work modules: Study module: Facilitates information to the user about the topics related with the tool. Guides module: Provides orientation to the user on the development of each one of the laboratories. In it finds specified factors like: objectives, procedure and range. Laboratories module: Includes three different practices, each one of them specifies the activities that the user should carry out, which are validated through its development. This module is the most important because trough this lets the user interact with the tool in order to simulate processes related with the topic. Help module: Provides information about the function of the tool and the development of the laboratories with examples detailed step by step. The software was developed under the Java platform; the database (db) that emulates the DNS it was implemented in Interbase 6.02. For the connection of the bd with Java the driver JDBC Interclient 1.6 was used. | |
