| dc.description.abstract | En el sector empresarial existen gran cantidad de aplicaciones software que se utilizan para los procesos que se realizan como labor comercial, sin embargo no todos los procesos han podido ser automatizados, por diversas dificultades. La ejecución de inventarios de activos fijos es una de ellas, pues este tipo de labor se caracteriza por la movilidad de quien la realiza. Hace algunos años las soluciones software no permitían la movilidad de quien la utilizada, es por esto que gracias a los continuos avances tecnológicos se permitió la aparición de lo que conocemos como Computación Móvil. Esta nueva área de la ingeniería de sistemas permite poder computar, comunicar, información sobre equipos de computación con características de movilidad y adaptación. MOVILINVENTORY, es una herramienta software para la gestión y control de inventarios de activos fijos utilizando dispositivos móviles PDA (Asistente Digital Personal), realizando la captura de información de los activos por medio de códigos de barras. MOVILINVENTORY consiste de tres aplicaciones: MOVILINVENTORY PC: Aplicación software para la computadora de escritorio (realiza la administración de la información de los inventarios). MOVILINVENTORY PALM: Aplicación software para el dispositivo PDA, la cual permite la captura de la información mediante lector de códigos de barras para la verificación y actualización de los activos fijos en campo. CONDUIT: Aplicación software que corre el la computadora de escritorio permitiendo la sincronización de datos entre el dispositivo móvil y la computadora de escritorio. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | In the enterprise sector great amount of software applications exists that are used for the processes that are made like commercial work, nevertheless all the processes could not have been automated, by diverse difficulties. The execution of inventories of fixed assets is one of them, because this type of work is characterized by the mobility of that makes it. Some years ago the software solutions did not allow the mobility of that the used one, is by which thanks to the continuous technological advances the appearance was allowed which we know like Mobile Computation. This new area of the engineering of systems allows computing, to communicate, information on computation equipment with mobility characteristics and adaptation. MOVILINVENTORY is a software tool for the management and control of inventories of fixed assets using movable devices PDA (Assistant Digital Personal), making the capture of information of the assets by means of bar codes. MOVILINVENTORY consists of three applications: MOVILINVENTORY PC: Software application for the desktop computer (it makes the information management of the inventories). MOVILINVENTORY PALM: Software application for the PDA device, allows to the capture of the information by means of reader of bar codes for the verification and update of the fixed assets. CONDUIT: Software application for the desktop computer allowing the synchronization of data between the mobile device and the desktop computer. | |
