| dc.description.abstract | Esta propuesta de carcasa para un Equipo Receptor de Radio en FM portátil, representa para el instituto de lenguas de la U.I.S. una opción en la consecución de un equipo potencialmente más económico que los conseguidos actualmente en el mercado y de la misma manera suple las necesidades básicas planteadas por el instituto para el uso de dicho equipo radio receptor. Con la elaboración de esta carcasa como complemento del circuito impreso interno necesario para su total funcionamiento, el instituto busca una opción para ampliar su sistema de traducción simultánea, sistema utilizado para traducir información de un idioma a otro a través de este tipo de equipos y de personal capacitado. El UR1 como propuesta de carcasa consta de dos caras que se ensamblan por medio de tornillos de rosca fina, internamente cuenta con piezas que se ajustan milimétrica mente con el circuito impreso para su correcto funcionamiento. Externamente la carcasa presenta los controles principales de uso del equipo (Encendido Apagado, Cambio de Canal y Nivel de Volumen), además, de la cinta para colgar el equipo al cuello y la pieza de enganche entre dicha cinta y el cuerpo de la carcasa. La carcasa del UR1 posee señalización en cada uno de sus controles y la forma y posición de los mismos permite ser usados tanto por personas zurdas como diestras. El UR1 es una propuesta de carcasa para un equipo que puede ser compatible con el sistema de traducción simultánea existente en el instituto de Lenguas de la U.I.S., permitiendo así ampliar su cobertura y posibilitar el préstamo de este sistema a otros centros educativos. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | This proposal of casing for a portable FM radio receiver represents to the UIS Language Institute an option in the obtaining of potentially cheaper equipment than the one currently obtained from the market and, at the same time, it supplies the basic needs, faced by the institute for the use of such radio receiver. With the production of this casing as a complement of the internal printed circuit needed for its total operation, the institute search for an option to expand its simultaneous translation system which is used to translate information from a language to another through this kind of equipment and a very capable staff. The UR1 as a proposal of casing consists of two faces that are assembled by fine thread screws. Internally, it has pieces that adjust millimetrically with the printed circuit to its proper operation. Externally, the casing shows the principal controllers for using the equipment (On-Off, Change Channel, Volume); besides, an accessory to wear the equipment around the neck and the piece to hitch such accessory to the casing body. The UR1 casing has signposting in each one of its controllers, and their form and position allow using them for both, right-handed and left-handed. The UR1 is a casing proposal for a device that can be compatible with the existing simultaneous translation system in the UIS Language Institute, allowing to expand its coverage and giving the opportunity of lending this system to other educational centres | |
