dc.description.abstract	El presente proyecto profesional de grado tiene como fin diseñar y construir un prototipo de máquina capaz de triturar botellas plásticas tipo PET clasificadas como desechos, incentivando la creación de la cultura del reciclaje para este material. Se diseñara un equipo con la capacidad de reducir una botella en partículas pequeñas denominadas pellets, generando así la materia prima que se requiere en el proceso de reciclaje mecánico del PET, primero se corta y tritura la botella en escamas y luego si se desea se utiliza una extrusora de este material que se utiliza para la creación de nuevos productos no alimenticios comercializables. En este proyecto se encontrara información sobre la composición de este material, los distintos tipos de reciclaje, algunos de los productos que se pueden obtener, así como la reseña del consumo y desecho en Colombia y la crisis ambiental que se empieza a reflejar en las diferentes ciudades capitales. Se especificaran las condiciones de diseño de este equipo, presentándolas de forma clara y entendible desde los cálculos básicos pasando por la fabricación, el montaje, las pruebas de funcionamiento y el mantenimiento del equipo. Por último se encontraran los anexos de todos los componentes requeridos para el diseño del equipo con sus respectivos planos.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The primary goal of this project is to design and construct a P.E.T. bottles grinding machine prototype; those bottles have been classified as trash. This attempt tries to motivate the culture of recycling for this material. generating the raw material that is required to start the P.E.T. mechanical recycling process. The first step is to cusaleable packaging for non-food products. Along this project you will found information about this material composition, different kinds of recycling, some of the products you can obtain and also an overview of the consumption and waste of this material in Colombia and the environmental crisis which is beginning to be reflected in capital cities of our country. The design conditions for this equipment will be specified in this project. They will be presented in a clear and understandable way; from the basic calculations passing through the manufacturing process, the assembly, the functional tests and the maintenance of the equipment. Finally you will find attached all the components required for the manufacture of the equipment with the corresponding blueprints.
