dc.description.abstract	El Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje SENA- tiene dentro de sus funciones ejecutar los programas de formación profesional para contribuir al desarrollo social, económico y tecnológico del país al desarrollo de los sectores productivos, en el caso del sector de la joyería, Santander en cabeza del Centro Industrial del Diseño y la Manufactura tiene la secretaría técnica de la mesa sectorial definida como un espacio de concertación entre la academia el gobierno y los empresarios en donde se tratan diversos temas que afectan al sector productivo con el fin de buscar soluciones que ayuden al crecimiento de los diferentes sectores productivos y a su vez retroalimentar los programas de formación, uno de los problemas del sector joyero actualmente es la baja convocatoria de la oferta de formación en joyería que contrasta con la demanda que reportan los empresarios del sector, al profundizar se encuentra que existe una problemática por la que está atravesando el sector en donde intervienen factores sociales, culturales y políticos, que contribuyen a que un sector promisorio como el de la joyería se encuentre amenazado con desaparecer de la zona urbana de Bucaramanga y su área metropolitana por ser considerado altamente contaminante. A través de la investigación se analizaron casos internacionales exitosos que en su momento han tenido alguna similitud con el tema local, se realizó un benchmarking entre la joyería Santandereana comparada con un referente de producción como China, un referente de diseño como la India y un referente de mercadeo como Estados Unidos, países con joyería de clase mundial para con este antecedente realizar una propuesta que permita apuntar a una formación profesional de clase mundial para el sector joyero de Santander con miras a replicarlo en todos los centros de formación de joyería a nivel nacional.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The National Learning Service (Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje - SENA) has as some of its functions to carry on with professional training programs to contribute to the social, economic and technological development in the country, and also to the productive sector development. In the case or the jewelry area, of the sectoral board defined as a space for an agreement among the government and the entrepreneurs. Diverse topics that affect the productive sector are addressed on this space with the aim of looking for solutions that help the different productive sectors grow while giving feedback to the training programs. One of the problems of the jewelry sector nowadays is the low call for proposals of the training supply on jewelry which is contrasted with the demand that is reported by the entrepreneur of the sector. By going in depth, it is found that there is a problem that jewelry is facing now in which social, cultural and political factors take place. These factors make the promissory jewelry business be threatened to disappear of the urban area in Bucaramanga and its metropolitan area because it is considered highly contaminating. During the research, successful international cases that have similarities with the local topic were analyzed. It was done a benchmarking among the jewelry from Santander in comparison with a production referent like China, a design referent like India, and a marketing referent such as the USA. These countries have jewelry which is world class. This can help to create a proposal that allows to focus on a world class professional training for the jewelry sector in Santander with the aim of replicating it in all the jewelry national training centers.
