dc.description.abstract	La finalidad de este trabajo de grado es brindar una solución a las necesidades de la industria, específicamente a la industria del reencauche de llantas; buscando altos niveles de producción, haciendo el trabajo más eficiente, seguro y de fácil manejo. La máquina busca mejorar el proceso de sacado de banda de la llanta, el cual se está haciendo manualmente en la empresa Bulldogs S.A lo cual genera una ineficiencia en el corte de la banda. La cortadora de banda recuperada es una gran innovación en la industria del reencauche en la ciudad de Bucaramanga e impulsara al crecimiento económico de esta misma. La máquina se diseñó y se construyó con la ayuda de programas enfocados al diseño de máquinas, en este caso se utilizó solidworks como base principal del diseño. Además, se puso en práctica todo lo aprendido durante la carrera de ingeniería mecánica para así solventar los inconvenientes que se iban presentando en el camino. Fue de gran ayuda el conocimiento de los operarios, el cual han adquirido por la experiencia obtenida a lo largo de sus años de trabajo.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The purpose of this degree work is to provide a solution to the needs of the industry, specifically the tire retreading industry; looking for high levels of production, making work more efficient, safe and easy to use. The machine seeks to improve the tire removal process, which is being done manually in Bulldogs S.A., this generates inefficiency in the cutting of the band. The recovered band saw is a great innovation in the retreading industry in the city of Bucaramanga and will boost the economic growth of the same. The machine was designed and built with the help of software focused to the machine design, in this case Solidworks was used as design principal base. Furthermore, everything learned during the career of mechanical engineering was put into practice to solve the problems that were presented along the way. The knowledge of the operators was very helpful, which has been acquired by the experience obtained during their work years.
