dc.description.abstract	Es evidente que el mercado de las telecomunicaciones ha crecido de manera espectacular y va a continuar haciéndolo en los próximos años. Esto, unido a la gran competitividad del sector, ha fomentado la búsqueda y desarrollo de servicios nuevos e innovadores basados en contenidos multimedia y localización. Hoy en día se hace necesario que estos servicios evolucionen hacia lo que se a denominado servicios de nueva generación (servicios NGN), servicios que plantean nuevos desafíos para el sector que deben ser afrontados en los próximos años y hacen parte de una filosofía general denominada la Convergencia de las Comunicaciones. Conciente de esta situación, el grupo RadioGis*** pretende acelerar la llegada de esta nueva visión de servicios NGN a Colombia apostándole en general a la visión mundial de la Convergencia de las Comunicaciones. Surge así la necesidad para RadioGis de esclarecer el panorama general de los servicios NGN para convertirse en prestador y desarrollador de este tipo de servicios en el país. En el presente trabajo de investigación se recomienda a RadioGis la mejor plataforma y estrategia para el desarrollo de servicios NGN de acuerdo a su visión, a las condiciones que se presentan en Colombia y a la opinión de la comunidad internacional. Además, se desarrolló un prototipo de servicio ajustado a la recomendación hecha y a la visión de servicios NGN. Se espera que este trabajo fomente la investigación en esta rama de las tecnologías de la información y que sea un precedente para la futura construcción de servicios NGN por parte del grupo RadioGis y en general de desarrolladores independientes.
dc.description.abstractenglish	It is evident that the telecommunication market has grown in a spectacular way and its growing will continue in the following years. This along with a great competitiveness in the area has promoted the research and development of new and innovative services based on tracking and multimedia contents. Nowadays it is necessary that these services evolve towards what has been denominated ﬁnew generation services (NGN), services which present new challenges for the area an that have to be tackled in the next years as they are part of a general philosophy named the Convergence of communications. Conscious of this situation, the group RadioGis*** pretends to accelerate the arrival of this new vision of the NGN services to Colombia putting its efforts in generating to the world view the Convergence of the Communications. In this way it arises the necessity for RadioGis to clarify the general scenario of the NGN services and to become in the provider and developer of this kind of services in our country. In this present research paper it is recommended to RadioGis the best platform and strategy for the NGN services according to its vision, the present conditions in Colombia and the international community opinion. Besides, a prototype of a service adjusted to the view of the NGN services and the recommendation made was developed. It is expected that this paper boosts the research in this branch of the information technologies and that it sets a precedent for the future construction of NGN services by the RadioGis group and independent developers in general.
