dc.description.abstract	Este documento recoge la experiencia adquirida durante la práctica empresarial desarrollada en la Dirección Territorial Santander del Instituto Nacional de Vías - INVIAS, donde se brindó apoyo técnico y administrativo a los procesos de supervisión e interventoría de contratos de obra pública. Las actividades realizadas se enfocaron en fortalecer el seguimiento contractual, la gestión documental y el análisis técnico necesario para la adecuada administración de los proyectos viales asignados a la Territorial. Entre las principales actividades se encuentran la elaboración de informes mensuales sobre el avance de los contratos, la consolidación del informe trimestral de la Dirección Territorial, la revisión técnica de información contractual y la elaboración de respuestas a derechos de petición (PQRDSF). Asimismo, se realizaron visitas de campo a estructuras y puntos críticos del corredor vial, permitiendo identificar condiciones constructivas, problemáticas recurrentes y aspectos relevantes para la supervisión y el seguimiento de los contratos. La práctica también permitió fortalecer competencias técnicas, administrativas y transversales, entre ellas la revisión técnica, el análisis de información, la gestión documental, la comunicación efectiva y la capacidad de trabajo colaborativo con equipos multidisciplinarios. Estas habilidades fueron fundamentales para desarrollar las actividades asignadas y comprender la dinámica institucional del INVIAS en el proceso de supervisión de obras. De esta manera, la práctica empresarial representó una oportunidad para aplicar los conocimientos adquiridos durante la formación en ingeniería civil y para adquirir experiencia real en escenarios de obra y gestión contractual. El trabajo realizado contribuyó al desarrollo profesional de la estudiante y apoyó de manera puntual tareas específicas dentro de la Dirección Territorial Santander del INVIAS.
dc.description.abstractenglish	This document presents the experience gained during the internship carried out at the Santander Territorial Directorate of the National Roads Institute - INVIAS, where technical and administrative support was provided to the supervision and oversight processes of public works contracts. The activities focused on strengthening contractual monitoring, document management, and the technical analysis required for the proper administration of the road projects assigned to the Territorial Directorate. The main tasks included the preparation of monthly reports on contract progress, the consolidation of the Directorate’s quarterly report, the technical review of contractual information, and the preparation of responses to citizens’ requests (PQRDSF). Field visits were also conducted to structures and critical points along the road corridor, allowing the identification of construction conditions, recurring issues, and relevant aspects for supervision and contract follow-up. The internship also contributed to the development of technical, administrative, and transversal competencies, including technical review, information analysis, document management, effective communication, and collaborative work with multidisciplinary teams. These skills were essential for carrying out the assigned activities and understanding the institutional dynamics of INVIAS in the supervision of public works. Overall, the internship represented an opportunity to apply the knowledge acquired during the civil engineering academic program and to gain real experience in both field activities and contractual management. The work carried out contributed to the student’s professional development and supported specific tasks within the Santander Territorial Directorate of INVIAS.
