dc.description.abstract	La inclusión de personas en condición de discapacidad es un tema que ha empezado a generar interés en los sectores académicos, permitiendo mejorar la calidad de vida de esta población. Por tal motivo, la Universidad Industrial de Santander quiere ser pionera en inclusión para personas con discapacidad en Santander, pues es un auge que con el tiempo puede ser obligatorio. De esta manera, el presente trabajo de grado busca identificar estrategias y diseñar un plan de acción para la atención de estudiantes en discapacidad del programa de Ingeniería Industrial de la UIS (Sede Principal). Con el fin de dar respuesta, esta práctica realizada en la Escuela de Estudios Industriales y Empresariales EEIE desarrolló un estudio investigativo, exploratorio y descriptivo basado en cifras, entrevistas, e información recopilada de las universidades inclusivas nacionales e internacionales, permitiendo identificar la población con discapacidad del programa de Ingeniería Industrial de la UIS y sus necesidades en infraestructura, procesos y tecnología. De esta manera, se crea un plan de acción o ruta de atención para la población con discapacidad, donde se tiene en cuenta desde el momento que la persona desea ser parte del programa hasta la finalización de la carrera universitaria, además de la identificación de las estrategias para la disminución de las barreras que surgen durante el desarrollo académico de la EEIE
dc.description.abstractenglish	The inclusion of people with disabilities is an issue that has begun to generate interest in the academic sectors, allowing to improve the quality of life of this population. For this reason, the Industrial University of Santander wants to be a pioneer in inclusion for people with disabilities in Santander, as it is a boom that over time may become mandatory. In this way, this degree project seeks to identify strategies and design an action plan for the care of students with disabilities from the Industrial Engineering program of the UIS (Main Office). In order to respond, this practice carried out at the EEIE School of Industrial and Business Studies developed an investigative, exploratory and descriptive study based on figures, interviews, and information collected from national and international inclusive universities, allowing the identification of the population with disabilities of the Industrial Engineering program of the UIS and its needs in infrastructure, processes and technology. In this way, an action plan or care route is created for the population with disabilities, where it is taken into account from the moment the person wishes to be part of the program until the end of the university degree, in addition to the identification of the strategies for reducing barriers that arise during the academic development of the EEIE.
