dc.description.abstract	El presente proyecto se realizó en el instituto municipal de cultura y turismo de Bucaramanga, el cual se inició en mayo del 2011 y finalizo en octubre del 2011, cuyo principal objetivo se enfocó en diseñar, documentar e implementar un sistema de gestión en seguridad industrial y salud ocupacional según la norma NTC OHSAS 18001. El proyecto parte del diagnóstico con respecto al cumplimiento de los requisitos de seguridad y salud ocupacional que exige la norma NTC OHSAS 18001:2007. en base a los resultados del diagnóstico se realizó el plan de implementación y se socializo con todos los funcionarios del instituto, posteriormente se documentó todos los procedimientos, formatos, matrices e instructivos. luego se implementó el sistema por medio de capacitaciones y socializaciones relacionadas con la protección, promoción y prevención de la salud de los funcionarios. Después de documentado e implementado el sistema de gestión de seguridad y salud ocupacional se realizó 2 (dos) auditorías internas para evaluar la efectividad del sistema, y poder formular un plan de mejoramiento para el sostenimiento del SGS & SO. Con la implementación del sistema de gestión de seguridad y salud ocupacional NTC OHSAS 18001:2007 en el instituto municipal de cultura y turismo de Bucaramanga se pudo minimizar los riegos a los cuales están expuestos lo funcionarios, desarrollando sus actividades laborales en ambientes más seguros evitando accidentes de trabajo y enfermedades profesionales.
dc.description.abstractenglish	This draft was held at the Municipal Institute of Culture and Tourism of Bucaramanga. It began in September 2009 and ended in April 2010. Its main objective was focused on designing, documenting and implementing the Safety Management System and Occupational Health to the NTC Standard OHSAS 18001:2007. The project starts with the diagnosis regarding the requirements of Occupational Health and Safety requires NTC Standard OHSAS 18001:2007. The implementation plan and the socialization with the officials of the Institute were based on the results of the diagnosis, and then we documented all procedures, forms, charts and instructions. After the system was implemented through training and socialization related to the protection, promotion and prevention of health officials. After documenting and implementing the management system of occupational safety and health two (2) internal audits to assess the effectiveness of the system were held, so we could make an improvement plan for the support of SGS & SO. With the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety Management System OHSAS at the Municipal Institute of Culture and Tourism of Bucaramanga could minimize the risks they are exposed to as staff, developing their working environments safer by preventing accidents and occupational disease.
