| dc.description.abstract | Dentro de las iniciativas por transferir los conocimientos de la academia a los sectores industriales se desarrolló este trabajo que consiste en un proceso de dirección estratégica para el grupo en investigación y diseño de circuitos integrados, CIDIC, de la UIS; con el fin de estructurarlo para lograr consolidarlo como un grupo de excelencia y a futuro incursionar en la industria de los semiconductores por medio de un proceso acertado de gestión tecnológica. Para el desarrollo de este trabajo se realizó un análisis del entorno del grupo, donde se detectaron oportunidades y amenazas; luego un análisis interno que permite identificar fortalezas y amenazas. Además se intenta describir a manera general las necesidades latentes de la industria de semiconductores, para así plantear los productos que el grupo va a ofrecer y las necesidades puntuales a satisfacer. Con toda esta información se definen las competencias centrales que el grupo debe tener para ofrecer sus productos y generar ventajas competitivas sostenibles. Se plantean los lineamientos estratégicos (misión, valores, visión, objetivos estratégicos y políticas), que permitirán dar una guía a todas las actividades que se desarrollen en el grupo y por medio de los cuales agentes externos puedan conocer los fundamentos del grupo como empresa. También se definen las estrategias a seguir para alcanzar la visión y los objetivos estratégicos, las cuales apuntan a la diferenciación del CIDIC con un modelo de negocio poco manejado en la industria y una consolidación de su sistema de gestión de recursos. Finalmente se presenta los procesos y la estructura organizacional propuesta para poner en marcha los resultados del direccionamiento estratégico. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | This work was developed on the initiative of transferring the academy knowledge to the industrial sectors. In this sense the authors present this project, which consists in a process of strategic management for the group on research and design of integrated circuits, CIDIC, UIS. This project was aimed to structure and consolidate the CIDIC as a group of excellence and, in a future, to penetrate on the microelectronics market by a process of technological management. In the development of this work, an environmental analysis to the CIDIC was realized, so that opportunities and threats were detected. Also, an internal analysis allowed to identify strengths and threats in the CIDIC. Additionally, it is intent to describe the general latent needs of the semiconductor industries, to raise the products that the group is going to offer and the punctual needs to satisfying it. With all this information it is defined the central competitions that the group should have to offer its products and to generate competitive sustainable advantages. Then, it is defined the strategic limits (mission, values, vision, strategic aims and policies) that will allow the group to give a guide to all the activities that it develops, and by means of these limits external agents could know the foundations of the group as a company. Also it is defined the strategies to follow, so that, should be possible to reach the vision and the strategic objectives, which will lead to a different CIDIC with a businesses model almost never used in the semiconductor industry, and with a consolidation in its system of management of resources. Finally this work presents the processes and the structure proposed to start the results of the strategic direction process. | |
