| dc.description.abstract | Este trabajo presenta el estudio de los sistemas de acueducto de seis municipios del interior de la Costa Atlántica. El objetivo principal del proyecto consiste en identificar las deficiencias de los sistemas de acueducto y plantear soluciones que posibiliten no solo satisfacer una demanda de agua en aumento, sino optimizar el uso de las estructuras existentes, asegurando que las inversiones destinadas para tal fin, sean bien aprovechadas. A partir del diagnóstico realizado, se concluyó que los acueductos analizados, actualmente funcionan al limite de su capacidad y presentan niveles de agua no contabilizada excesivamente altos. Los problemas registrados comprenden: el mal estado de algunas de las instalaciones (debido a su antigüedad, diseño u operación inadecuada), limitaciones de capacidad y dificultades en la regulación y control de caudales y presiones. El desarrollo de la práctica inició con la capacitación en el manejo de tecnología y software especializado necesario para realizar el procesamiento de la información. Durante el tiempo en que se llevo a cabo la práctica empresarial, se desarrollaron simultáneamente las siguientes actividades: clasificación y análisis de información, elaboración de procedimientos y presentación de soluciones. Como aporte al estudio de los sistemas de acueducto, se presenta un documento que exhibe de manera clara, ordenada y validada; los pasos necesarios para realizar el diagnóstico técnico de sistemas de acueducto. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | This work presents the study of the aqueduct systems in six municipalities from the interior Atlantic Coast in Colombia. The main objective in the project consists in targeting deficiencies in the aqueduct systems and raising solutions that not only satisfy the annual increasing water demand of the community, but optimize the use of the existent structures too, making sure that the municipality can take advantage of the resources invested. From the diagnosis, the first conclusion is that the current aqueducts systems analysed, work in the edge of their capacities, and present very high levels of non-accounted water. The observed problems include: badly state of some of the infrastructure (too old, bad designs or bad operation), limited capacities and difficulties in volumes and pressures regulations. The practice development started with qualifying in handling the specialized software and technologies needed for the information processing. During the time we made it, the following activities were developed too: Information analysis and classification, procedures definitions and solutions presentation. As an extra contribution for the study of the aqueduct systems, is elaborated a document which shows in a clearly, organized and valid way the steps for the technical diagnosis of aqueduct systems. | |
