dc.description.abstract	En el siguiente artículo se mostrará el proceso y actividades realizadas en aras de generar un estado del arte respecto a los factores de riesgo presentes en la accidentalidad en motociclistas debido a su indumentaria, dando un punto de partida para posteriores investigaciones que se generen respecto a este tema, es importante tener en cuenta que este trabajo se divide en dos objetivos principales, el primero es una revisión bibliográfica que permitió hacer notar la carencia de investigación respecto a este tema en la región y que se apoya de artículos de países angloparlantes en su mayoría para poder generar conclusiones y exponer los factores de riesgo en motociclistas por su indumentaria; el segundo momento se basa en la exposición de los resultados generados al aplicar una encuesta en la ciudad de Bucaramanga a conductores de motocicleta, buscando caracterizar a los mismos y su percepción respecto al uso de kits de indumentaria completos al momento de manejar sus motocicletas, esto conllevó a descubrir que en Bucaramanga las personas que manejan motocicleta son conscientes y le dan importancia a su seguridad sin embargo por factores económicos no adquieren todos los que se debería, finalmente se busca generar un artículo que condense todo lo descrito anteriormente dando una idea general del tema y que pueda servir de apoyo para estudios posteriores.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The following article will show the process and activities carried out in order to generate a state of the art regarding the risk factors present in accidents in motorcyclists due to their clothing, giving a starting point for further investigations that are generated regarding this subject, it is important to take into account that this work is divided into two main objectives, the first is a bibliographical review that allowed us to note the lack of research on this topic in the region and that is supported by articles from mostly English-speaking countries. to be able to generate conclusions and expose the risk factors in motorcyclists due to their clothing; The second moment is based on the exposure of the results generated by applying a survey in the city of Bucaramanga to motorcyclist drivers, seeking to characterize them and their perception regarding the use of complete clothing kits when riding their motorcycles, this led us to discover that in Bucaramanga people who drive motorcycles are aware and give importance to their safety, however due to economic factors they do not acquire all that they should, finally it seeks to generate an article that condenses everything described above giving a general idea of the subject and that can serve as support for further studies.
