| dc.description.abstract | El objeto de este proyecto es plantear la idea de la creación de un Centro de Información y servicios de Mecanizado en la Universidad Industrial de Santander, especialmente a la escuela de Ingeniería Mecánica, cuyo propósito sea ayudar al crecimiento técnico, logístico y tecnológico de las pequeñas y medianas empresas del sector metalmecánico de la ciudad de Bucaramanga. Este planteamiento se da con el propósito de aprovechar todo el material con el que cuenta la Escuela de Ingeniería Mecánica en el campo de la metalmecánica, crecimiento empresarial y productivo; ofreciéndolo a las empresas de este sector que así lo requieran, beneficiándose así la Universidad y el sector metalmecánico de la ciudad. El desarrollo de este trabajo se realizo en tres grandes etapas que requirieron de profundos estudios y encuestas. La primera etapa se trato del estudio del estado actual de las empresas del sector metalmecánico del área metropolitana de Bucaramanga para así determinar las necesidades, debilidades y fortalezas en el campo de las máquinas utilizadas en la fabricación de sus piezas, logística de producción, tecnología, técnica de procesos y personal calificado. La segunda fase se basa un estudio de la Escuela de Ingeniería Mecánica en la Universidad Industrial de Santander sobre todo el material intelectual (documentación e información), físico (Equipos disponibles o maquinaria), técnico (cursos técnicos en esta área) y tecnológico (software de gerenciamiento de herramientas y diseño asistido por computador) con el que se cuenta para así recopilarlo, aprovecharlo y brindarlo como ayuda al crecimiento tecnológico de las empresas metalmecánicas de la ciudad. Por último en la tercera etapa pasamos a desarrollar un plan de negocios y estudio de mercados para la creación de un Centro de Información, capacitación, asesorías de mecanizado, gerenciamiento de herramientas y administración de procesos de producción, en la Universidad Industrial de Santander para las Empresas Metalmecánicas de Bucaramanga. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | The goal of this project is to establish the idea of creating an informational mechanised centre in Universidad Industrial de Santander, especially in the School of Mechanical Engineering, the purpose of which would be to boost the technological, logistical, and technical growth of the small and medium companies in the metal mechanic industry in the city of Bucaramanga. This initiative is to take advantage of all the resources that the School of Mechanical Engineering has available for the metal mechanic, and entrepreneurial and productive growth, in order to offer it to the companies which may need it in order to favor both the College and the metal mechanic industry in the city. The realization of this project was accomplished in three big stages which required exhaustive research and surveys. The first stage was about studying the current status of the metal mechanic companies in the Metropolitan Area of Bucaramanga in order to determine the necessities, weaknesses, and strengths regarding the machinery used in the parts, production logistics, technology, process techniques, and qualified personnel of the industry. The second stage was with regards to a research study about all the intellectual (documentation and information), physical (available machinery), technical (technical courses in the field), and technological (management tool software and computer aided design) available resources in the School of Mechanical Engineering in order to collect them and use them to aid the technological growth of the metal mechanic companies in the city. Finally, in the third stage, a business plan and a market study were developed for the creation of an informational, training, mechanization consulting, management tools, and process and production administration centre in Universidad Industrial de Santander for the metal mechanic industry companies in Bucaramanga. | |
