dc.description.abstract	En este documento se describe la configuración, modelamiento numérico y construcción de un muro delgado estructural en concreto reforzado representativo del sistema constructivo tipo túnel de la ciudad de Bucaramanga, posteriormente será ensayado bajo condiciones de carga cíclica con el objetivo de identificar el mecanismo de daño y establecer su curva de comportamiento experimental, esto como continuidad al proyecto presentado en este documento, a su vez se presentan los parámetros con los cuales el muro fue modelado en el software MIDAS GEN1 realizando un análisis no lineal por el método de elementos finitos, con el fin de tener una posible respuesta del muro ante el ensayo experimental, resultados que fueron validados con ensayos bajo condiciones similares, realizados por otros autores. El trabajo actual se llevó a cabo con el fin de hacer un aporte al proyecto , el cual está enfocado en caracterizar las edificaciones en muros delgados de la ciudad y en base a esto identificar las variables que influyen en la respuesta estructural de este tipo de sistemas estructurales ante eventos sísmicos de gran magnitud.
dc.description.abstractenglish	This document describes the configuration, numerical modeling and construction of a thin structural wall in reinforced concrete which represents the tunnel type construction system of the city of Bucaramanga. It is proposed to be tested in the future under cyclic loading conditions with the objective of identify the mechanism of damage and establish its experimental behavior curve. This as a continuity to the project presented in this document, which in turn presents the parameters with which the wall was modeled in the MIDAS GEN (software licensed by the Universidad Industrial de Santander) software performing a nonlinear analysis by the method of finite elements in order to have a possible response of the wall to the experimental test, results that were validated with tests under similar conditions, carried out by other authors. The current work was carried out in order to make a contribution to the INME research project "ESTUDIO DEL COMPORTAMIENTO SÍSMICO DE EDIFICACIONES TIPO TÚNEL EN ZONAS DE ALTA AMENAZA SÍSMICA FASE 1" ID 1895, which is focused on characterizing buildings in thin walls of the city, and based on this identify the variables that influence the structural response of this type of structural systems to large seismic events.
