| dc.description.abstract | Este proyecto se realizó con el fin de contribuir en el progreso tecnológico del país a través de la industria metalmecánica en el diseño y construcción de un equipo agroindustrial no desarrollado antes en Colombia, tomando parte en la misión institucional de la UNIVERSIDAD INDUSTRIAL DE SANTANDER en su propósito de participación activa liderando procesos de cambio por el progreso de la comunidad y participando en la visión empresarial de la Fábrica de Maquinaria Agroindustrial FAMAG Ltda. de brindar un apoyo en el área de investigación y desarrollo de nuevos equipos. Mediante una Práctica empresarial como Proyecto de Grado se fabricó un equipo separador de paddy que se ajusta a las necesidades actuales de los molinos de arroz en el país y por lo tanto de la empresa, cuyo principio de funcionamiento es un movimiento oscilatorio que permite que los granos sean separados de acuerdo a su peso específico, teniendo en cuenta variables como velocidad de trabajo, excentricidad y ángulo de inclinación. La separación se realiza en tres fracciones diferentes: Arroz paddy, mezcla de paddy e integral y arroz integral los cuales descargan a través de tres salidas independientes. El arroz paddy regresa a la descascaradora, la mezcla de arroz paddy e integral retorna a la entrada del separador de paddy, solamente el arroz integral con baja presencia de paddy continúa hacia la máquina blanqueadora. Su diseño es compacto de tal manera que el espacio requerido para su instalación es pequeño en relación a su gran capacidad de separación. Tiene un dispositivo de parada automática que funciona tan pronto como el tanque de alimentación está por quedar vacío. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | This project was made with the purpose of contributing in the technological progress of the country through the metal - mechanic industry in the design and construction of an agroindustrial equipment not before developed in Colombia, taking part in the institutional mission from the UNIVERSIDAD INDUSTRIAL DE SANTANDER in its intention of active participation leading processes of change by the progress of the community and participating in the enterprise vision of Factory of Machinery Agro - Industrial FAMAG Ltda. to offer to a support in the area of investigation and development of new equipment. By means of Practice in the Company as Project of Degree was made a Separator equipment of Paddy that adjusts to the present necessities of the Mills of Rice in the country and therefore of the Company, whose principle of operation is an oscillating movement that allows that the grains are separated according to their specific weight, considering speed of work, eccentricity and rake. The separation is made in three different fractions: Rice Paddy, Mixes of Paddy whit Integral and Integral Rice which unload through three independent exits. The rice paddy returns to the huller, the rice mixture paddy and integral returns to the entrance of the separator of paddy, only the integral rice with low presence of paddy continues towards the machine launderer. This design is compact in such a way that the space required for its installation is small in relation to its great capacity of separation. It has a device of automatic shutdown that works the feeding tank as soon as is about to be empty. | |
