dc.description.abstract	El siguiente proyecto describe la metodología utilizada para la implementación de los Sistemas de Gestión Ambiental y de Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional bajo los lineamientos de la NTC ISO 14001:2004 y la OHSAS 18001:2007 en la Alcaldía de Bucaramanga Secretaria de Infraestructura Alumbrado público. La metodología de implementación se basó en el ciclo Deming: planear, hacer, verificar y actuar. Inicialmente se realizó un diagnóstico el cual permitió determinar el nivel de cumplimiento de la dependencia Alumbrado Público con los requisitos de las normas mencionadas. Teniendo en cuenta los resultados del diagnóstico fue diseñada la documentación necesaria para la implementación de los sistemas, en esta etapa fue revisada la política, se establecieron objetivos directrices e indicadores, también se definieron programas, procedimientos, instructivos, guías, manuales entre otros; después fueron ejecutadas cada una las actividades planeadas y finalmente en la etapa de verificación se realizaron dos auditorías internas junto con el planteamiento de los respectivos planes de acción, cuyo fin fue asegurar la mejora continua en el sistema de gestión integrado. En el capítulo 10 se evidencian los resultados obtenidos por Alumbrado Público con la implementación del los sistemas de gestión ambiental y seguridad y salud ocupacional, ya que por medio del control y evaluación de los riesgos a los cuales están expuestos sus trabajadores, la dependencia logro ofrecer un ambiente de trabajo más seguro y saludable, evitando la ocurrencia de accidentes y enfermedades profesionales, además fortaleció su responsabilidad con el medio ambiente reduciendo los impactos ambientales provocados por las actividades que desarrollan sus empleados.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The following Project describes the methodology used in the implementation of the Systems of Environmental management and security, and occupational health under the NTC ISO14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 guidelines, at the Alcaldia of Bucaramanga, department of infrastructure and street lighting. The process of implementation was based on the Deming cycle: planning, building, checking, and performing. Initially, it was conducted a diagnosis test which let to determine the fulfillment level of the department of street lighting under the requirements of the regulations already mentioned. Taking into account the results of the diagnosis test, it was designed the documentation needed for the development of the systems; during this stage the policy was examinated, the objectives, principles, and indicators were established, as well as the programs, procedures, instructions, guidelines, among others. Then, each one of the planned activities was carried out. Finally, in the checking stage two internal audits were conducted with the corresponding actions plans; this aimed to ensure the continuous improvement in the integral management system. In chapter 10, the results taken by the street lighting can be observed with the implementation of the Systems of Environmental management and security, and occupational health due to the control and evaluation of risks that the employers were exposed to. The entity could offer a safer and illnesses, besides it reduced the environmental impacts caused by the activities that the employers perform.
