dc.description.abstract	El siguiente documento tiene como objetivo dar a conocer la importancia de la supervisión en las obras civiles, en este caso aplicada a las adecuaciones de las baterías sanitarias. El trabajo se realizó en la Universidad Industrial de Santander como opción de trabajo de grado en la modalidad de práctica empresarial desempeñado la función de auxiliar de ingeniería, en la división de planta física, haciendo diferentes tareas correspondientes a la supervisión en las obras civiles, como son el seguimiento, control y soporte en la ejecución de las actividades del proyecto. El objetivo de la práctica fue la verificación de la calidad para las actividades realizadas, revisando que estuvieran acordes a lo establecido con los planos de diseño y especificaciones técnicas, para cumplir con las metas del proyecto. Un número grande de problemas estructurales y de servicio en las construcciones no son atribuibles a deficiencias del diseño o de los materiales, sino principalmente, al mal desempeño de la supervisión por ende la supervisión de obra es un
dc.description.abstractenglish	The following document aims to make public the importance of supervision in civil works, in this case applied to the adequacy of sanitary batteries. The work was carried out at the Industrial University of Santander as a degree work option in the business practice modality played the role of auxiliary engineering, in the division of physical plant, doing different tasks corresponding to supervision in civil works, as Are the monitoring, control and support in the execution of the project activities. The objective of the practice was to verify the quality of the activities carried out, checking that they were in accordance with the design plans and technical specifications, in order to comply with the project goals. A large number of structural and service problems in constructions are not attributable to defects in design or materials, but mainly to the poor performance of supervision, therefore, supervision of work is a determining factor for both success and The failure of a project. The professional in charge of the work of work supervisor is exposed not only to problems of a technical nature, but also to conflicts generated by human interaction. In addition to the skills required to deal with technical and human problems, the supervisor must have a set of positive values and attitudes for an adequate performance of his work.
