dc.description.abstract	Este proyecto hace parte de uno de los módulos que conformaran el laboratorio de la asignatura de Diseño Gráfico de la Escuela de ingeniería Mecánica de la Universidad Industrial de Santander, con el cual se pretende dar a conocer todo lo relacionado con el tema de juntas mecánicas, su representación gráfica, representación simbólica, aplicaciones para que así los estudiantes de primeros semestres tengan unas buenas bases para las asignaturas que se tomaran en los próximos semestres. Con este proyecto se busca afianzar los conceptos teóricos con la ayuda de un componente practico, creando un ambiente ideal para el aprendizaje en el cual los estudiantes se sientan bien y puedan dar su mejor esfuerzo por aprender; para esto se contará con una variedad de muestras de juntas con las cuales pueden interactuar, medir y seleccionar para llegar posteriormente a la representación de estos elementos mecánicos. Los elementos que conforman la herramienta de aprendizaje están constituidos por: un manual teórico en cual se describe con mucha claridad las juntas mecánicas, las normas que las rigen, como se seleccionan; teniendo como principal objetivo el fácil y rápido entendimiento de este ya que es muy ilustrativo. También se conforma de dos guías con información muy clara de lo que se quiere que los estudiantes realicen durante la práctica, plantillas de informe, instrumentos de medición (cinta métrica, calibrador pie de rey) que son de vital importancia para la toma de medidas para la posterior consignación en los planos y finalmente se cuenta con un banco para la realización de las practicas. Los elementos anteriormente nombrados son una buena fuente de información pedagógica que sirve de gran ayuda para los estudiantes de diseño gráfico, con esto se colabora en la formación de ingenieros competitivos
