Descripción El presente trabajo de grado tuvo como objetivo desarrollar un prototipo de aplicativo móvil para el control y gestión del inventario de herramientas y equipos especiales en el taller de servicio posventa de un concesionario automotriz en Bucaramanga. La investigación se estructuró en cuatro etapas: identificación y clasificación de herramientas según criterios de criticidad; diseño de un registro digital con información de clase, cantidad, ubicación y estado; desarrollo del prototipo mediante el uso de interfaces en Figma, programación en Kotlin asistida por inteligencia artificial (Cursor) y bases de datos en Firebase; y finalmente, pruebas de validación en el concesionario Kia Grecco Motors. El aplicativo, denominado BRAVIC, permite a los técnicos registrar préstamos y devoluciones de herramientas, reportar su estado y generar alertas; mientras que el jefe de taller accede a funciones de supervisión, inventario, gestión de usuarios y reportes estadísticos. Tras una prueba piloto de tres días, el sistema fue calificado positivamente por técnicos y jefe de taller, destacándose su utilidad para la trazabilidad, la reducción de pérdidas y la mejora en la eficiencia operativa. Se concluyó que la herramienta tecnológica desarrollada constituye una solución factible para optimizar la gestión de inventarios de herramientas especiales en talleres automotrices.

Description: This undergraduate thesis aimed to develop a prototype mobile application for the control and management of the inventory of special tools and equipment in the after-sales service workshop of an automotive dealership in Bucaramanga. The research was structured in four stages: identification and classification of tools according to criticality criteria; design of a digital record including class, quantity, location, and condition; development of the prototype through Figma-based interfaces, Kotlin programming assisted by artificial intelligence (Cursor), and Firebase databases; and, finally, validation tests at Kia Grecco Motors dealership. The application, named BRAVIC, allows technicians to record tool loans and returns, report their condition, and generate alerts; while the workshop manager has access to supervision functions, inventory management, user administration, and statistical reports. After a three-day pilot test, the system was positively evaluated by both technicians and the workshop manager, highlighting its usefulness for traceability, reduction of losses, and improvement in operational efficiency. It was concluded that the developed technological tool represents a feasible solution to optimize special tool inventory management in automotive workshops.
