dc.description.abstract	ASER INGENIERIA LTDA. siendo consciente que mantener a sus empleados seguros en el trabajo nunca es una opción y tras la necesidad de incursionar en nuevos sectores, decidió enfrentar una nueva etapa implementando un Sistema de Gestión de Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional bajo la norma internacional OHSAS 18001:2007. Realizado el documento y partiendo de los análisis internos en la sede administrativa y en el proyecto ARCADIA, se consideraron aspectos claves identificados mediante un diagnostico inicial como la verificación del cumplimiento de la legislación aplicable a las actividades desarrolladas, la identificación y control de los riesgos asociados a dichas actividades, se definieron las responsabilidades y se estableció la documentación y programas exigidos por la norma OHSAS 18001:2007 y por la naturaleza de la empresa. Posteriormente se evalúa el sistema a través de dos auditorías internas y la revisión por la dirección, definiéndose las acciones a tomar. Finalmente se dan las conclusiones y recomendaciones como resultado del desarrollo del presente proyecto. Al implementar esta norma de gestión se logro crear una empresa comprometida y conocedora de la importancia de operar en un ambiente confiable para sus trabajadores, contratistas y visitantes. dc.description.abstractenglish	ASER INGENIERIA LTDA is aware that the safety for its employees at work is not an option and having the need to penetrate new segments, decided to face a new phase implementing an occupational health and safety management system according to the NTC 18001:2007. In the development of this project were considered key aspects, which had been identified in the initial diagnosis, like the verification of the legislation accomplishment that can be applied to the activities, the identification and control of the risks from those activities. Were defined responsibilities and established the documentation and programs required by the NTC 18001:2007 and the company nature. Subsequently the system is evaluated through two internal audits and management review, defining the actions to take. Finally the conclusions and recommendations are given as a result from this project. In the implementation of this management policy were successful created a committed and aware company, which knows that a safety and comfortable environment for its employees, contractors, and visitors it is the most important in a controlled operation. Seeing reflected in a great development improvement, the customers and employees satisfaction, and a higher trust from its shareholders and investors
