| dc.description.abstract | El objetivo de este proyecto es el diseño, selección y montaje de los servicios asociados a una planta piloto destiladora para la obtención de aceites esenciales, la cual funciona en el Centro Nacional de Investigaciones para la Agro industrialización de Especies Vegetales, Aromáticas y Medicinales Tropicales, cuyas instalaciones funcionan en la Universidad Industrial de Santander. La producción de aceites esenciales es una actividad de gran tradición en muchos países y tienen una amplia comercialización en el mercado mundial, dado que la flora nativa, los frutos, las hojas de árboles, he incluso las malezas sirven de materia prima para su elaboración, este mercado se constituye en una importante opción de negocios para nuestro país y una alternativa para el agro Colombiano. Con el fin de determinar variables necesarias para la construcción de plantas de extracción a nivel industrial, es necesaria la construcción de un equipo de pruebas a nivel de planta piloto que junto con los datos de laboratorio permita obtener unas bases sólidas para el crecimiento de esta industria; siendo este un patrón que servirá para futuras construcciones de equipos de destilación en diferentes regiones de nuestro país ya que según estudios de la producción de aceites esenciales se obtiene una rentabilidad alta buscando iniciar esta nueva industria. Los equipos diseñados y construidos producto de este proyecto, logran suministrar los servicios de vapor para los métodos de hidrodestilación, destilación agua/vapor y destilación por arrastre con vapor por medio de una caldera y unos quemadores atmosféricos, donde inicialmente se determinó el flujo de vapor requerido para el proceso según la carga de material vegetal y el sistema de enfriamiento del agua en el equipo de condensación por medio de una torre de enfriamiento adicionalmente un sistema de carga y descarga del material vegetal a través de una grúa portátil de operación manual. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | The objective of this project is the design, selection and assembly of the services associated to a plant steer distiller for the obtaining of oils essentials, which works in the National Center of Investigations for the Agriculture industrialization of Tropical Vegetable, Aromatic and Medicinal Species whose facilities work in the Industrial University of Santander. The production of essential oils is an activity of great tradition in many countries and has a wide commercialization in the world market, due to the native flora, fruits, vegetables, leaves of trees and shrub even serve as raw material for its elaboration, this market is constituted in an important option of thr business for our country and an alternative for the Colombian agriculture. With the purpose of determining necessary variables for the construction of extraction plants at industrial level, it is necessary the construction of tests equipment at a level pilot plant together with the laboratory data allow obtaining some solid bases for the growth of this industry; It is a pattern that will serve for constructions future of equipments distillation in different regions our country according to studies of the essential oils production is obtained a high profitability looking for to begin in this new industry. The designed teams and built product of this project, they are able to give the services of vapor for the hydrodistillation methods, water distillation, steam distillation and distillation for haulage with vapor by means of a boiler and some atmospheric burners, Initially the steam mass flow was determined, it required for the process to the load of vegetable material and the system of cooling of the water in the condensation team by means of a tower of shot cooling induced a load system additionally and it discharges of the vegetable material through a portable crane of manual operation. | |
