dc.description.abstractLos biciusuarios de Bucaramanga y su área metropolitana deben comportarse en la vía cumpliendo las leyes y normas según lo dicta la legislación colombiana, sin embargo, para establecer una mayor cantidad de parámetros que intervienen en su seguridad a la hora de conducir e intervenir en la malla vial, es prudente investigar las leyes vigentes en ciudades reconocidas por adoptar masivamente la bicicleta como medio de transporte. Existen ciudades como Bógota, Mexico, Quebec, Sevilla y de países bajos con una gran cultura en el tema que fueron seleccionadas para este estudio basado en su amplia experiencia y conocimiento. Mediante encuestas aplicadas en los puntos de estudio Universidad Industrial de Santander, Cra. 27 # 9 Entrada principal (Bucaramanga) y Estación de Servicio Tiger, Autopista Floridablanca Clle. 205 # 10. Se realizó un diagnóstico del conocimiento y aplicación de las normas prescritas, las virtudes y falencias que se detectan en los hábitos de los conductores para lo que se pretende elaborar una guía con recomendaciones para que los biciusuarios circulen de una manera mas segura y conozcan las leyes que les rige como conductores de bicicleta, además de adquirir consejos en temas como salud del biciusuario, mantenimiento y seguridad de la bicicleta que les serán de gran ayuda a la hora de conducir.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe bicycle users of Bucaramanga and its metropolitan area must behave on the road complying with the laws and norms as dictated by the Colombian legislation, however, in order to establish a greater number of parameters involved in their safety when driving and intervening in the road network, it is prudent to investigate the laws in force in cities recognized for adopting the bicycle as a means of transport on a massive scale. There are cities such as Bogota, Mexico, Quebec, Seville and from low countries with a great culture in the topic that were selected for this study based on their extensive experience and knowledge. Through surveys applied at the Universidad Industrial de Santander study points, cra. 27 # 9 Main entrance (Bucaramanga) and Tiger Service Station, Highway Floridablanca Clle. 205 # 10. A diagnosis of the knowledge and application of the prescribed standards was carried out, the virtues and faults that are detected in the habits of the drivers for which it is intended to elaborate a guide with recommendations for the bicycles users to circulate in a more safe way and to know the laws that governs them as drivers of bicycle, in addition to acquiring advice on topics such as bike health, maintenance and bike safety that will be of great help when driving.
