dc.description.abstractEn los últimos años, el aumento de la demanda de transporte y del tránsito vial ha causado, particularmente en Bucaramanga, más congestión, demoras, accidentes y problemas ambientales. Ese aumento explosivo surge de un mayor acceso al automóvil y la motocicleta, al elevarse el poder adquisitivo de las clases de ingresos medios, más acceso al crédito, reducción de los precios de venta, más oferta de vehículos usados, crecimiento de la población, menos habitantes por hogar y escasa aplicación de políticas estructuradas en el transporte urbano. Con el propósito de ayudar a optimar el flujo vial en la ciudad, se realiza un estudio donde se pretende Identificar los patrones de movilidad existentes en los municipios del área Metropolitana de Bucaramanga con base en datos obtenidos mediante la aplicación de encuestas y entrevistas personales con un análisis descriptivo de las variables; con el fin de obtener datos reales y actualizados sobre aquellos factores negativos que afectan la movilidad en el municipio de Bucaramanga; que faciliten la elaboración de una herramienta práctica para la logística de la movilidad, la cual podría considerarse como el instrumento futuro para ejercer procesos de planeación, control, regulación y operación del tránsito y transporte. El beneficio principal de encontrar estos aspectos, seria directamente para los ciudadanos, ya que mejorarían los tiempos de desplazamiento de un punto a otro sin contratiempos inesperados, llegando a tiempo a sus diferentes destinos de trabajo, estudio o cualquier otro.
dc.description.abstractenglishIn recent years, the increase in demand for transport and road traffic has caused, particularly in Bucaramanga, more congestion, delays, accidents and environmental problems. This explosive increase arises from greater access to the automobile and the motorcycle, as the purchasing power of the middle-income classes increases, more access to credit, reduction in sales prices, more supply of used vehicles, population growth, less inhabitants per household and scarce application of structured policies in urban transport. In order to help optimize the flow of traffic in the city, a study is carried out to identify the existing mobility patterns in the municipalities of the Metropolitan Area of Bucaramanga based on data obtained through the application of surveys and personal interviews with a descriptive analysis of the variables; in order to obtain real and updated data on those negative factors that affect mobility in the municipality of Bucaramanga; that facilitate the development of a practical tool for the logistics of mobility, which could be considered as the future instrument to exercise processes of planning, control, regulation and operation of transit and transport. The main benefit of finding these aspects would be directly for the citizens, since they would improve the time of travel from one point to another without unexpected setbacks, arriving on time to their different destinations of work, study or any other.
