dc.description.abstractEl objetivo de este escrito es presentar un documento que recopile la información de los tres temas propuestos por la Empresa EXTRUCOL S.A. al autor. El primero consiste en la detección de ventajas y desventajas de quince diferentes tuberías usadas en la construcción de Alcantarillados en el país, la metodología empleada fue la elaboración de tablas donde se ordeno por temas las diferentes características de interés, extractadas de los diferentes catálogos comerciales y paginas Web. En segundo lugar se encuentra la realización de un estudio de rigideces en cuatro tipos de tuberías flexibles, empleando los métodos de ensayo propuestos por las normas NTC 3254 (Determinación de las características de carga exterior de tubos plásticos por medio de placas paralelas) y NTC 4215 (Tubos termoplásticos. Determinación de la rigidez de anillo), para la recolección de datos se llevaron a cabo los dos ensayos en el laboratorio de la empresa EXTRUCOL S.A. Por ultimo se realizo un estudio de factores que intervienen en el aumento del índice de agua no contabilizada en acueductos, haciendo énfasis en aquellos donde influye directamente la tubería, también se muestran algunos procesos que han sufrido empresas prestadoras del servicio de agua potable en la reducción del agua no contabilizada (Acciones y logros) y por ultimo se expone la estructura tarifaría actual y la influencia de las perdidas anteriormente nombradas en la misma. Para esto se estudiaron diferentes fuentes bibliográficas y paginas Web, cabe resaltar que este modulo fue revisado por el Ing. Enrique Forero, persona que maneja el tema
dc.description.abstractenglishThe objective of this writing is to present a document that gathers the information of the three topics proposed by the Company EXTRUCOL CORP. to the author. The first one consists on the detection of advantages and disadvantages of fifteen different pipes used in the construction of Sewer systems in the country, the used methodology was the elaboration of charts where you orders for topics the different characteristics of interest, summarized of the different commercial catalogs and you paginate Web.
