dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación se realizó con estudiantes de grado octavo del Colegio Técnico Aurelio Martínez Mutis del municipio de Puente Nacional, quiénes a través adolesceneducativa. Con esta metodología de aprendizaje generaron un ambiente escolar motivacional, fortalecieron la competencia de indagación y alcanzaron un aprendizaje significativo. El proyecto fue planteado bajo el enfoque de la Investigación Cualitativa, con las características propias de la Investigación-Acción. Para la recolección de la información se utilizaron técnicas como la observación participante, la cual permitió un acercamiento a los estudiantes para conocer sus intereses y poder establecer desde allí el proyecto de aula; las entrevistas de grupo focal al inicio y al final de la propuesta, permitieron hacer un análisis a las percepciones de los estudiantes con respecto a la metodología de aprendizaje, al área de Ciencias Naturales y al docente; además se aplicó un test de competencias, bajo la estructura de competencia de indagación y el componente entorno vivo con 10 preguntas de tipo prueba SABER al inicio y al final del proyecto; resultados que corroboraron lo arrojado por las pruebas externas, en las cuales el mayor porcentaje de los estudiantes se encuentran en niveles insuficiente y mínimo; sin embargo, después de la aplicación de la propuesta se observan mejoras en cada uno de los niveles establecidos, fortaleciéndose la competencia de indagación. La aplicación de la propuesta permitió una autorreflexión del quehacer docente, de tal forma que se hizo una sustitución de las prácticas educativas tradicionales, por otras ajustadas al contexto y al momento histórico de los estudiantes. .
dc.description.abstractenglishThe present research was carried out with eighth grade students from the Aurelio Martínez Mutis Technical College in the municipality of Puente Nacional, who, through a classroom project, identified a social problem, "pregnancies in adolescents", approached and shared their results to the educative community. With this learning methodology they generated a motivational school environment, strengthened the competence of inquiry and achieved meaningful learning. The project was raised under the focus of Qualitative Research, with the characteristics of Action Research. For the collection of the information, techniques such as participant observation were used, which allowed an approach to the students to know their interests and to be able to establish from there the classroom project; the focus group and the interviews at the beginning and at the end of the proposal allowed for an analysis of the students' perceptions regarding the learning methodology, the Natural Sciences area and the teacher; in addition, a competency test was applied, under the competency structure of inquiry and the living environment component with 10 test questions, at the beginning and at the end of the project; results that corroborated the results of external tests, where the highest percentage of students are in insufficient and minimum levels; however, following the implementation of the proposal, improvements are observed at each of the established levels, strengthening the competition for inquiry. The application of the proposal allowed for a self-reflection of the teaching task, in such a way that a substitution of the traditional educational practices was made, by others adjusted to the context and the historical moment of the students.
