dc.description.abstractEn la región santandereana y más específicamente Bucaramanga y su área metropolitana, dada la necesidad de un sano esparcimiento de los habitantes, se desarrolla el proyecto Parque Acuático Acualago, teniendo en cuenta la misión social que tiene la UNIVERSIDAD INDUSTRIAL DE SANTANDER en generar apoyo y aportar desde los proyectos de grado realizados por estudiantes a este tipo de obras de ingeniería, surge la idea de diseñar una atracción acuática tipo tobogán cerrado, con la debida seguridad para los usuarios acorde a las leyes y normas establecidas en este tipo de iniciativas. dc.description.abstractenglishIn the region and more specifically in Bucaramanga and its metropolitan area, given the need of wholesome recreation for the inhabitants, is developing the project Acualago Water Park, taking into account the social mission that has the Santander Industrial University in generating support and provide for projects conducted by students in their grade projects on this type of engineering work, the idea of designing a water attraction from the type closed slide, with the appropriate security to users in according to the laws and internationals rules in such initiatives. Initially performed a selection of the type of slide design, which took into account the different types of attractions in other water parks around the world, also analyzed the parameters of the users tour, and their necessary machinery to fluid transport to proper operation and overall dimensions. During development of the project the authors made different dynamic analyzes, mechanical structural calculations and correct selection of hydraulic machinery, in line with the rules specified in ASTM 2376-08 and nationals regulations for water amusement rides. Additionally, is made an increasing of the reliability from the design by a computer program which modeling the fluid movement and drew after the assembly drawings of attraction.
