dc.description.abstractEste documento es la evidencia del trabajo realizado a través de la práctica social ejecutada por medio del convenio interinstitucional entre la Alcaldía de Bucaramanga y la Universidad Industrial de Santander con el objetivo de realizar un resultado conjunto entre la academia y la institucionalidad pública: particularmente en la fase diagnóstica de la actualización de la Política Pública de Mujer y Equidad de Géneros y la fase inicial de la formulación de la Política Pública para la Población con Orientación Sexual e Identidad de Géneros Diversas. El trabajo en la primera política pública también denominada PMYEG se realizó en dos momentos: en el primero se participó en la elaboración del documento diagnóstico de brechas a través de 7 ejes enfocados en los derechos de la mujer, en el segundo momento se realizó una contribución a la creación del documento final de diagnóstico social de la población objetivo. En el caso de la segunda política también llamada POSIGD, se realizó un acompañamiento a la primera fase, a través de recolección de información para realizar un diagnóstico con información cuantitativa y cualitativa. A lo largo de la realización de la práctica se generaron grupos de trabajo conformados por profesionales de la Alcaldía de Bucaramanga quienes designaban la elaboración de tareas y estas se exponían semanalmente a través de la creación de informes expuestos por medio de diferentes plataformas en la modalidad virtual. Los principales hallazgos fueron la evidente inequidad en diferentes ámbitos entre las personas identificadas con el género femenino y las identificadas con el género masculino; de igual forma la necesidad de realizar un sistema de elaboración estadística para caracterizar a la población diversa en el municipio. Por otro lado, se reconoció que existen deficiencias educativas en el lenguaje inclusivo periodístico en varios medios a nivel regional y nacional
dc.description.abstractenglishThis document is the evidence of the work carried out through the inter- institutional agreement between the Mayor's Office of Bucaramanga and the Industrial University of Santander with the aim of achieving a joint result between academia and public institutions: particularly in the diagnostic phase of the update of the Public Policy for Women and Gender Equity and, the initial phase of the formulation of the Public Policy for the Population with Sexual Orientation and Diverse Gender Identity. The work on the first public policy, also called PMYEG, was carried out in two moments: first, we participated in the elaboration of the diagnostic document of gaps through 7 axes focused on the rights of women. Second, a contribution was made to the creation of the final document of social diagnosis of the target population. About the second policy, also called POSIGD, a followup to the first phase was carried out, through the collection of information to carry out a diagnosis with quantitative and qualitative information. Throughout the practice, work groups made up of professionals from the Mayor's Office of Bucaramanga designated the preparation of tasks and were exposed weekly through reports presented through different platforms in the virtual modality. There were two main findings: Firstly, the evident inequity in different areas between people identified with the female gender and those identified with the male gender. Secondly, the need to carry out a statistical elaboration system to characterize the diverse population in the municipality.
