dc.description.abstractLa investigación comprende el análisis de las causas de la condicionalidad y PFU, (Por Fuera de la Universidad) en la universidad Industrial de Santander sede Málaga -años 2012 y 2013-, con el propósito de propiciar estrategias que contribuyen a minimizar estos flagelos, con la procura de mayor eficiencia académica. El trabajo se convierte en el primer estudio sobre la problemática en este municipio, convirtiéndose en material importante para la gestión académica de la institución, en cuanto al aporte de información básica para formular alternativas que minimicen el costo social, económico, familiar e individual, cuando un estudiante no logra culminar sus estudios de educación superior. El análisis da explicación a las causas de la problemática manifiesta; abordando a la población objeto de estudio mediante encuesta a estudiantes comprometidos en el problema de condicionalidad y entrevistas no formales para los PFU, encontrando que las que influyen en el problema, no corresponden exclusivamente al proceso académico institucional, sino a particularidades, como respuesta del estudiante a posturas personales, asociadas desinterés por el programa seleccionado. Por último, si bien existe en los PFU causas de orden personal, la Universidad como garante académico de la profesionalización, y crear un canal de comunicación entre estudiantes y profesores, permitiendo una pedagogía integral, la cual logre profesionales con altos niveles de competitividad, y capacidad propositiva.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe research aimed to analyze the causes of conditionality and UFP, between 2012 and 2013 in the Universidad Industrial de Santander University Málaga. To reach the results it was used a mathematical formula to the total population that resulted in conditionality and PFU during the years 2012 and 2013, in this way was obtained an stratified sample to which was applied the survey to achieve the results. Once tabulation of data was made, the analysis of the variables that causes conditionality and UFP in the UIS - Málaga continued. Performed the analysis it came to the conclusion that the variables causing poor academic performance and PFU are academic, it was found that students do not receive timely and adequate counseling by professors when they require it or that the matters of higher difficulty in the academic program exceeds the 40 students in the group, with respects to the size of it, leading to the education in a massive, standardized manner, disregarding the particular cognitive abilities of each student. Finally, contributions were made to solve these problems, bearing in mind that the University must ensure a channel of communication between students and professors to reach agreements that allows an integral pedagogy, by which achieve professionals with high levels of competitiveness, specialty, proactive capacity and performance in different areas of knowledge.
