dc.description.abstractSalón Oeste: No Compatible con La Vida” es un proyecto que parte del archivo clínico que realizó mi padre, el Doctor Libardo Arenas, durante su vida laboral como jefe del área oeste de urgencias y de la morgue del Hospital Universitario de Santander; el centro de salud pública más grande de la región y Por medio del estudio y análisis su archivo el proyecto retoma los casos más extraños registrados por él, durante su guardia. Los Casos relacionados con mutaciones, los síndromes y las enfermedades más peculiares serán la base para el desarrollo del archivo del proyecto en cuestión, el cual estará compuesto por piezas de escultura, texto, dibujo e imágenes como placas de RX, que llevarán a sala aquella información científica que hace denominar a un individuo como “no compatible con la vida”.
dc.description.abstractenglish“WEST ROOM: NOT COMPATIBLE WITH LIFE” is a project that starts from the clinical archive that my father, Dr. Libardo Arenas, made during his working life as head of the western emergency department and the morgue of the Hospital Universitario de Santander, the largest public health center in the region. Through the study and analysis of the medical file of the aforementioned doctor, “SALÓN OESTE” is developed, a project that takes up the strangest cases recorded by him during his shift; the mutations, syndromes and the most peculiar diseases followed by the doctor will be the basis for the development of the file of the project in question, which will be composed of pieces of sculpture, text, drawings and images such as X-ray plates, which will bring to the room that scientific information that makes an individual to be called “not compatible with life”.
