dc.description.abstract“Sobre el arte en Bucaramanga muchas opiniones coinciden en que aquí no pasa nada, que la ciudad es lo más parecido a un desierto, y que avanza dando tumbos como un equino famélico y enfermo.”3 Aún no hay trabajo es una propuesta artística compuesta de tres piezas: un cartel, tres pinturas y un video. Juntos, ofrecen plásticamente una interpretación del estado actual del arte en Bucaramanga desde sus dinámicas de consumo y mercado profundizando en la relación entre las galerías de la ciudad y los artistas recién graduados. Explorando las posibilidades del mercado artístico en Bucaramanga y enfatizando en ese panorama álgido, donde aún no se puede vivir del arte, si no se sobrevive y donde ser artista implica ser curador, gestor, critico, profesor, escritor y también debe estar dispuesto a trabajar en colectivo, a auto gestionarse y tomar iniciativas en una ciudad donde no parece existir espacios para el arte. El proyecto surgió de una preocupación personal por la utilidad del arte en el contexto colombiano y las oportunidades laborales en Bucaramanga. Aún no hay trabajo que es una exposición que invita al espectador a observar el arte desde la realidad de su campo laboral y al artista profesional como lo que es, un trabajador más.
dc.description.abstractenglish"About art in Bucaramanga, many opinions agree that nothing happens here, that the city is the closest thing to a desert, and that it goes tumbling forward like an emaciated and sick equine."6 Still no work is an artistic proposal composed of three pieces: a poster, three paintings and a video. Together, we offer plastically an interpretation of the real state of art in Bucaramanga from its dynamics of consumption and market deepening in the relationship between the galleries of the city and the recently graduated artists. Exploring the possibilities of the artistic market in Bucaramanga and emphasizing that high point, where you still can not live from art, if you do not survive and be an associate artist, be a curator, manager, critic, teacher, writer and also be willing to work in collective, a self-management and take initiatives in a city where there seems to be no spaces for art. The project arose from a personal concern for the usefulness of art in the Colombian context and job opportunities in Bucaramanga. There is still no work that is an exhibition that invites the viewer to observe art from the reality of his work field and the professional artist as what he is, another worker.
