dc.description.abstractPara la Escuela de Ingeniería de Sistemas e Informática (EISI), de la Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS), se desarrollo el Sistema de Información CPGWeb2.0 como Trabajo de Grado. Este Sistema fue desarrollado con el fin de mejorar y facilitar el proceso relacionado con la gestión académica y administrativa de los Trabajos de Grado a toda la comunidad EISI, principalmente a los miembros del Comité de Proyectos. El presente Trabajo de Grado, realizado bajo la modalidad de Práctica Empresarial en la EISI, tiene como objetivo principal finalizar la etapa de implantación del sistema, entregándolo formalmente a los Usuarios, incluyendo su capacitación; además, desarrollar las actividades correspondientes de Soporte del Sistema para prolongar y mejorar su funcionamiento; demostrando, de esta forma, los diferentes roles que puede desempeñar un Ingeniero de Sistemas. Para la capacitación del Usuario Final se desarrollaron diferentes actividades, siguiendo lineamientos específicos, dependiendo del tipo de Usuario. Además, se elaboraron Manuales de Usuario que facilitarán el entendimiento de las funciones del sistema. Las actividades principales de Soporte del sistema, tales como corrección de errores y adaptación a nuevas necesidades, requirieron volver a las etapas de análisis, implementación e implantación del ciclo de vida del desarrollo del sistema y aplicación de conceptos de reingeniería. En el desarrollo de este Trabajo de Grado la comunicación constante con los Usuarios fue fundamental pues el software cambia con respecto a las necesidades de ellos o de la empresa. Generalmente, existe la tendencia en nuestro medio de demeritar la labor de Soporte de Sistemas, desconociendo la importancia que merece. No obstante, esta práctica comprobó que esta labor es de vital importancia ya que evita la perdida y desaprovechamiento de los sistemas de información dentro de una organización.
dc.description.abstractenglishFor the School of Engineering of Systems and Computer Science (EISI), of the Industrial University of Santander (UIS), it was developed the Information System CPGWeb2.0 as work of degree. This System was developed with the purpose of improving and facilitating the process related to the academic and administrative management of the Works of Degree to all community EISI, mainly to the members of the Committee of Projects. The present Work of Degree, made under the modality of Enterprise Practice in the EISI, has like main objective finalize the stage of implantation of the system, giving it formally to the Users, including its training; in addition, to develop the corresponding activities of Support of system to prolong and to improve its operation; demonstrating, of this form, the different rolls that can carry out a Systems Engineer. For the training of the End User parameters beside were developed to different activities, following specifics, depending on the type of User. Were elaborated Manuals of User that will facilitate the understanding of the functions of the system. The main activities of Support of the system, just as correction of errors and adaptation to new necessities, required to return to the stages of analysis, implementation and implantation of the cycle of life of the development of the system and application concepts of reengineering. In the development of this Work of Degree the constant communication with the Users was fundamental because software changes with respect to the necessities of them or of the company. Generally, it exists the tendency in our means to discredit the work of Support of Systems, being not known the importance that deserves. However, this practice verified that this work is of vital importance since avoids the lost and the make useless of the information systems within an organization.
