dc.description.abstractLa gestión de la seguridad y salud ocupacional dentro de las empresas, cuyo objetivo es el de brindar ambientes de trabajo sanos y seguros para evitar accidentes y enfermedades profesionales, se ha convertido en una estrategia o medio para disminuir los costos de producción, mejorar la continuidad en el proceso productivo, aumentar la motivación y sentido de pertenencia de los empleados por la empresa y aumentar las oportunidades de negocio. En el siguiente documento se describen las actividades que se llevaron a cabo en Industrias Acuña Ltda., para el diseño, implementación, evaluación y mejora de un Sistema de Gestión en Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional según la Norma Técnica Colombiana OHSAS 18001:2007. Como primer paso se presenta la información de la empresa, justificación del trabajo a realizar y objetivos del mismo. Se continúa con la descripción de cada una de las etapas como lo fueron el diagnóstico inicial para conocer el nivel de cumplimiento de los requisitos de la norma, la planificación que incluyó la definición de la política y objetivos de s y so, la identificación de peligros y de requisitos legales, la elaboración del programa de salud ocupacional y la elaboración de documentación necesaria para proceder a la implementación del sistema de gestión. Finaliza con la presentación de los resultados de dos auditorías internas que evaluaron el sistema de gestión y de las respectivas acciones que buscaron su mejoramiento continuo.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe management of occupational health and safety in companies, whose aim is to provide healthy and safe work environments to prevent accidents and occupational diseases has become in a strategy or means to lower production costs, improve continuity in the production process, increase motivation and sense of belonging among employees of the company and increase business opportunities. The following document describes the activities carried out in Industrias Acuña Ltda., for the design, implementation, evaluation and improvement of a Safety and Occupational Health Management System according to the Colombian Technical Standard OHSAS 18001:2007. As a first step is the information of the company, justification and objectives of the research. It continues with a description of each stage as were the initial diagnosis to determine the level of compliance with the requirements of the standard, the planning that included the definition of political and objectives of occupational health and safety, the identification of hazards and legal requirements, the development of occupational health program and the preparation of documentation needed to proceed with the implementation of the management system. Ends with the presentation of the results of two internal audits that evaluated the management system and the presentation of the respective actions sought continuous improvement.
