dc.description.abstractEl proyecto “Presencias: cartografía de flora cadavérica” parte de la revisión constante que realicé durante los últimos meses sobre el archivo que se preserva en las bóvedas del cementerio Arquidiocesano de Bucaramanga, en esta serie de documentos se pueden leer datos sobre la infraestructura del lugar y la flora cadavérica que se encuentra en las lápidas de la necrópolis. Posterior a la revisión del archivo del cementerio lleve a cabo una serie de recorridos por los panteones del lugar, con el fin de documentar el espacio y entrevistar a las personas que laboran en la zona. Sumado a lo anterior en el proyecto “Presencias: cartografía de flora cadavérica” se plantea en base a las acciones mencionadas anteriormente, de la revisión de archivo y los recorridos, una obra en la que el espectador puede observar una cartografía alegórica, es decir, una cartografía elaborada desde la mirada íntima del artista. Por medio de las técnicas como la placa y el mosaico, el dibujo y el vídeo el proyecto busca presentar un archivo de cartografía en sala que narra los mitos del cementerio Arquidiocesano y recoge aspectos como la ornamentación de sus tumbas y flora presente en las concavidades de las mismas
dc.description.abstractenglishThe project “Presences: cartography of cadaveric flora” is part of the constant review that I carried out in recent months on the archive that is preserved in the vaults of the Archdiocesan cemetery of Bucaramanga, in this series of documents you can read data about the infrastructure of the place and the cadaveric flora found on the tombstones of the necropolis. After reviewing the cemetery archive, I carried out a series of tours through the cemeteries ofthe place, in order to document the space and interview the people who work in the area. Added to the above, the project “Presences: cartography of cadaveric flora” is proposed basedon the actions mentioned above, the archive review and the tours, a work in which the viewercan observe an allegorical cartography, that is, a cartography created from the intimate perspective of the artist. Through techniques such as plaque and mosaic, drawing and video, the project seeks to present a cartographic archive in the room that narrates the myths of the Archdiocesan cemetery and includes aspects such as the ornamentation of its tombs and flora preserved in the concavities of the themselves.
