dc.description.abstractEn la actualidad la industria de la construcción se ha vinculado con el avance tecnológico que se vive en nuestra época, generando progreso en todas las ramas de la ingeniería civil, pero la existencia de países como Colombia que su desarrollo no ha sido adecuado aun sabiendo que el futuro de la infraestructura nacional radica en: las tecnologías que han facilitado el trabajo del hombre haciendo mas rápidos los procesos como lo hace el Building Information Modeling (BIM) y las nuevas metodologías de gestión que generan una alta precisión en el control de las construcciones como lo hace el método del valor ganado (EV). Por estas razones se llevo a cabo un estudio en la construcción del edificio de laboratorios de ingeniería mecánica, ubicado en la universidad industrial de Santander, Bucaramanga, Colombia, en el cual, se realizaron mediciones del avance obra y se controlo la construcción por medio de la metodología del valor ganado con ayuda de herramientas BIM para así poder demostrar la eficiencia de estos avances en la gestión de la construcción por medio de agrupaciones correctas de los ítems del proyecto, una metodología sencilla para cuantificar ítems y una forma simple de informar lo que sucede en la construcción en un instante determinado con el fin de evitar atrasos en el cronograma y sobrecostos en el presupuesto.
dc.description.abstractenglishSchedule. In the present, the construction industry has done a link with the technological advance that we live in our time, generating some progress in all branches of civil engineering, but exist many countries like Colombia that its development the national infrastructure lie in the technologies that have facilitate the human work making faster many process like the building information modeling (BIM) do and in the other hand we got the newest methodologies of management that help the control of the construction with high accuracy like method of the earned value (EV) do. For this reason, a study was carried out in the construction of the building of mechanical engineering laboratories, located in Industrial university of Santander, Bucaramanga, Colombia, in which we made measurements of the construction progress and control by the method of the earned value with the help of the BIM, with the purpose of demonstrate the efficiency of these advances in management of the construction through the correct association of the items projects, an easy methodology of items measurement and a simple way to make advice of what is happening in real time in construction site with the objective of avoid delay in the schedule and waste in the budget.
