dc.description.abstractEl presente proyecto de investigación está basado en el programa internacional de investigación The Relevance of Science Education (ROSE), el cual le da una gran importancia a la Ciencia y Tecnología como conocimientos que marcan un desarrollo importante en el país. La población participante en esta investigación corresponde a un total de 227 estudiantes hombres entre edades de 11 a 15 años y estrato entre 1 a 5, lo anterior hace alusión a las dos variables de esta investigación las cuales son edad y estrato socioeconómico. El objetivo es indagar cuales son los mayores intereses que expresan los estudiantes del grado séptimo del Instituto Tecnológico Salesiano Eloy Valenzuela hacia el aprendizaje de los contenidos de las disciplinas propias de las ciencias naturales, para lograr lo anterior se aplicó a la muestra los cuestionarios A, C y E del estudio ROSE llamados “DE QUE QUIERO YO APRENDER” con una escala Likert, a la cual se le prestó mayor atención al “muy interesado”. Los resultados obtenidos con respecto a las variables hacen mención que los estudiantes están interesados en la mayoría de las disciplinas de Ciencias Naturales; en el cuestionario A se evidencia que la disciplina de mayor interés es Ciencias Físicas, en el cuestionario C, las disciplinas de mayor interés son Computación y Ciencias de la Información y Ciencias Biológicas y finalmente en el cuestionario E la disciplina de mayor interés es Ciencias de la Tierra.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe present investigation project is based on the international investigation program The Relevance of Science Education (ROSE). This program gives a lot of importance to the knowledge in science and technology, like knowledge that are determinant on a country development. The sample of this investigation was 227 male students with ages between 11 to 15 years old. The students of the sample belong to the social stratum 1 to 5. Those are two of the analysis categories of this investigation age and social stratum. The objective was to inquire about the interest of the students that were part of his sample had towards the learning of contents of the different disciplines of natural science. In order to know that the students of the sample took the ROSE STUDIE A, C, E test called "WHAT I WANT TO LEARN" with a Likert scale and we put emphasis on the “vey interest”. The results obtain related to the analysis categories show that the students have interest in most of the disciplines of natural science. On the A test the discipline that the students had more interest on was physical sciences, on the C test discipline that the students had more interest on were Computing and Information Science and Biological Sciences. Finally on the E test the discipline that the students had more interest on was Earth sciences.
