dc.description.abstractEste proyecto tiene como finalidad diseñar e implementar un plan de mejoramiento para el sistema productivo de la empresa JARRIS LTDA, en la línea de apanados con el fin de lograr una optimización en los procesos productivos. Para la realización del proyecto se llevó a cabo un diagnóstico en el área de producción donde se analizaron e identificaron las falencias y actividades a mejorar a lo largo de todo el proceso productivo, se elaboró el diagrama de procesos de la línea de apanados, igualmente se hizo el diseño e implementación de propuestas de mejora para incrementar la productividad y lograr una mejor utilización de los recursos con actividades como: eliminación de despilfarros, metodología de las 5´s toma de tiempos e indicadores de gestión con el fin de analizar y dar seguimiento a las mejoras implementadas. En el transcurso del desarrollo del proyecto se llevaron a cabo otras actividades como aumentar el calibre de las láminas plásticas utilizadas en la separación de los apanados en el momento de su fabricación y congelación con el fin de que al despegarlas no se convierta en un cuello de botella, también por medio de la utilización de las 5´s se logra ordenar y dar una mejor ubicación de las herramientas de trabajo, minimizando el tiempo de búsqueda y obtención de las mismas, de igual forma las actividades realizadas en cada espacio de trabajo fueron estandarizadas, a lo largo del desarrollo del proyecto se capacitó al personal logrando la sensibilización sobre dichos temas; así mismo para medir los resultados obtenidos en el desarrollo del trabajo se realizó y diseñó un sistema de indicadores. Finalmente se realizaron las conclusiones y recomendaciones.

Finally conclusiones and recomendaciones are made.
