dc.description.abstractLa pandemia por Covid-19 reconocida como una emergencia sanitaria, social y económica irrumpió en gran medida la cotidianidad de todas las personas alrededor del mundo. No obstante, entender los impactos que esta ha generado, no solo desde su aparición sino desde las medidas que los Estados tomaron para mitigar sus riesgos en todos los ámbitos, implica posicionarse desde un análisis de género e intersectorial, pues, de acuerdo con la información encontrada, las mujeres han sido mayoritariamente afectadas en las diferentes actividades desarrolladas en su vida cotidiana, como ejemplo de ello se evidenció la agudización de las labores no remuneradas y del cuidado. Es por ello por lo que, las mujeres académicas constituyen una población foco de investigación dado que debieron adaptarse al trabajo en casa para la continuación de sus labores dentro la universidad, lo que implicó cambios en sus dinámicas diarias. Los resultados indican que efectivamente las mujeres académico-científicas de la Universidad Industrial de Santander tuvieron impactos en la continuación de las actividades de tipo investigativo, a pesar de que en muchos de los casos esta fue su prioridad, se vio afectada por las labores domésticas y del cuidado reconociendo así que hubo doble jornada.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe Covid-19 pandemic, recognized as a health, social and economic emergency, has largely disrupted the daily lives of all people around the world. However, understanding the impacts that this has generated, not only from its appearance but from the measures that the States took to mitigate its impacts in all areas, implies positioning itself from a gender and intersectoral analysis, since, according to the information found, women have been mostly affected, since this meant the worsening of unpaid work and care. That is why academic women constitute a research focus population since they had to adapt to working at home to continue their work at the university, which implied changes in their daily dynamics. The results indicate that indeed the academic-scientific women of the Industrial University of Santander had an impact on the continuation of research-type activities, despite the fact that in many cases this was their priority, it was affected by housework and of care, thus acknowledging that there was a double shift.
