dc.description.abstractEl trabajo se desarrolló al este del municipio de Lebrija, Santander y surge ante la problemática por escasez del recurso hídrico superficial, la alta demanda en permisos de prospección y exploración de aguas subterráneas solicitados a la CDMB en el municipio, y por la poca información geológica disponible de la zona. Fue necesario realizar un estudio geológico detallado con el fin de conocer la configuración geológica y estructural del área de estudio que permitiera entender el comportamiento de las aguas subterráneas para dar una correcta planificación al uso del recurso. Se elaboró un mapa geomorfológico que permitió identificar estructuras geológicas con su importancia hidrogeológica, mostrando un control denudacional y estructural de las geoformas presentes en el área. También se presenta la cartografía geológica a escala 1:25.000 identificando los miembros superiores de la Formación Girón aflorando en la zona. Además, se realizó un procesamiento de datos de diaclasas y se utilizó el método de línea de muestreo y ventana circular para estimar parámetros de densidad, intensidad y longitud del fracturamiento de la zona de estudio. La distribución espacial de los miembros cartografiados está determinada por dos estructuras mayores, un anticlinal al oeste y un sinclinal al este. La porosidad secundaria de las rocas dada por fracturamiento y meteorización química, junto con la orientación preferencial de las diaclasas, lineamientos, y el buzamiento de los estratos condicionan la dirección y confluencia de las aguas subterráneas en el acuífero fracturado. ______________________
dc.description.abstractenglishHYDROGEOLOGY, LEBRIJA, SANTANDER. The work was developed to the east of the municipality of Lebrija, Santander and arises before the problem due to scarcity of surface water resources, the high demand for prospecting permits and exploration of groundwater requested to the CDMB in the municipality, and because of the limited geological information available in the area. It was necessary to carry out a detailed geological study in order to know the geological and structural configuration of the study area that allowed to understand the behavior of groundwater to give a correct planning to the use of the resource. A geomorphological map was elaborated that allowed to identify geological structures with their hydrogeological importance, showing a denudacional and structural control of the geoforms present in the area. Geological mapping at a scale of 1: 25,000 is also presented, identifying the upper members of the Girón Formation that emerge in the area. Additionally, a data processing of joints was performed and the sampling line and circular window method was used to estimate parameters of density, intensity and fracture length of the study area. The spatial distribution of the mapped members is determined by two major structures, an anticline to the west and a syncline to the east. The secondary porosity of the rocks given by fracturing and chemical weathering, together with the preferential orientation of the joints, lineaments, and the dip of the strata condition the direction and confluence of the groundwater in the fractured aquifer. ______________________ * Bachelor
