dc.description.abstractObservar y valorar el estado de funcionamiento deun sistema, permite compararlo con su estado ideal, y apreciar en que medida se hadesviado el sistema de dichas condiciones ideales, este fue precisamente el trabajorealizado con los sistemas de acondicionamiento de aire centralizados del hospital. El trabajo realizado en esta entidad pública, de gran importancia social para la región,incluye la caracterización de los equipos e instalaciones de aire acondicionadomediante una labor investigativa que comprende búsqueda, organización einterpretación de información , igualmente se evaluó la operación de los sistemas conactividades de campo, mediante el uso de la instrumentación adecuada para conocerel comportamiento de los sistemas a través del tiempo, arrojando la informaciónnecesaria, para aplicar las metodologías de análisis térmico, eléctrico y análisis defalla, utilizadas para encontrar las causas de los problemas y soportar lasrecomendaciones pertinentes. Con el informe presentado, las directivas de la entidad, cuentan con una herramientaútil para la toma de decisiones sobre el acondicionamiento del aire de la institución,que esperamos redunde en beneficios para el hospital, mejoras en la prestación desus servicios, el confort de sus empleados, ahorros energéticos y ligado a ello, ahorroseconómicos y menor impacto ambiental.
dc.description.abstractenglishWhen a system's state of operation is observed and rated, it ispossible to compare it with its ideal state, and to appreciate the measure in which thesystem has diverted from its ideal conditions. This was exactly the work done with thecentralized systems of air conditioning of the hospital. The work done in this public company, of great social importance for the region,includes the characterization of the equipments and installations of air conditioning bymeans of an investigative labour that includes research, organization and interpretationof information, as well as the evaluation of the systems’ operation with field activities,by using adequate instrumentation to know the behavior of the systems through time.Later on, getting the necessary information, to apply the methodologies of electric,thermal and failure analyses, used to find the root cause of the problems and tosupport the pertinent recommendations. With the report presented, the management of the company has a useful tool for takingdecisions on the setting of the air conditioning in the medical institution, that we expectto benefit the hospital, in several ways such as improvements in the services offering,increased comfort of its employees, energy savings and diminished environmentalimpact.
