dc.description.abstractCon el fin de lograr una mejor adecuación en la infraestructura física de la Universidad Industrial de Santander, la oficina de planeación de laUISse encuentra encargada de la formulación de proyectos integrales para planificar el crecimiento de sus diferentes sedes a través de Planes Maestros de infraestructura. Los Planes Maestros se desarrollan con base en aspectos urbanísticos y respaldados por las normativas nacionales que se encuentran actualmente vigentes, a partir de las cuales se realiza el diagnóstico actual en el cumplimiento de dichas normas por parte de la universidad. En la elaboración del diagnóstico la oficina de planeación permite la participación de estudiantes de último nivel que colaboran en la generación de modelos adecuados para el mejoramiento tanto espacial, social y de investigación de la universidad y de esta forma contribuir al bienestar de la comunidad universitaria. Para la elaboración del diagnóstico de uso de espacios actualmente empleados en la universidad, se cuenta con la ayuda del software AutoCAD, el cual facilita el análisis de áreas acerca de la cuantificación general de espacios y población de las sedes comparando a su vez estas con los estándares actuales y la normativa urbanística vigente. A partir de este diagnóstico se apoya el proceso de formulación de propuestas para los planes maestros de infraestructura físicaUISen el campus central y en las sedes de Málaga y Socorro buscando mejorar a futuro las necesidades físicas de la infraestructura para la capacidad de crecimiento poblacional en la institución .
dc.description.abstractenglishIn order to achieve a better infrastructure adaptation of the Universidad Industrial de Santander, the planning office is in charge of various comprehensive project formulations to plan the development of its different seats through something we called "infrastructure master plans". These infrastructure master plans are developed based on urban aspects which are supported by current national regulations from which we evaluate the correct compliance of those by the university.To elaborate this diagnosis the planning office let last semester students participate collaborating with the elaboration of appropriate models to improve and have a better environment in the university contributing in this way with the community comfort. To diagnose the usefulness of the different spaces currently used by theUISwe are using the AutoCAD software, which facilitates the general spaces' evaluation analysis and the different university seats population in order to compare them with the currently standards and urban regulation. The formulation of the "Master Plans" proposals for the main campus and the Malaga and Socorro seats is based on this diagnosis. The main purpose is to improve the infrastructure necessities produced by the institution population growing.
