dc.description.abstractLos periódicos locales Vanguardia Liberal y El Deber mediante artículos y publicidades crearon y difundieron una representación de imagen idealizada de mujer, a través de patrones de conducta, presentación en sociedad, estereotipos de belleza y reinados, con el fin de orientar a las mujeres hacia un matrimonio prospero. Durante el proceso de esta configuración, las mujeres mantuvieron estrictos comportamientos, reflejándolas como damas distinguidas, quienes se destacaron a su vez por su estirpe y participación social. Como primera medida, se estudió la caracterización de una imagen idealizada de mujer teniendo en cuenta la orientación de los padres, el refuerzo de los colegios en los patrones de conducta, expresando este comportamiento en reuniones, respectiva participación en sociedad; además, se observó la participación en sociedad y los valores espirituales, qué como virtudes que representaron a una distinguida dama señorita configuraron una representación de imagen idealizada de la mujer en Bucaramanga, en tercer lugar, examinar los modos de vestir y sus tendencias, consejos de salud, belleza, y el cuidado de su aspecto físico que llevaron a una representación de dama distinguida exaltada en la prensa local; en cuarto lugar, mostrar un breve seguimiento de cómo se vio reflejado en las reinas y reinados de belleza local la imagen idealizada de la mujer que se construyó a través de la prensa, para finalmente llegar a la máxima concreción de una dama distinguida en el matrimonio. Esta investigación se inserta dentro del campo de la investigación de histórica, es importante señalar que el concepto principal de ésta investigación fue aquel que correspondió a mujer distinguida, al cual se le hizo un seguimiento en los periódicos locales, complementándose teóricamente con Pierre Bourdieu, sociólogo francés que mostró preocupación en los comportamientos y prácticas sociales y la repercusión de ésta en la misma sociedad.
dc.description.abstractenglishVanguardia Liberal and El Deber, locals newspapers, through articles and advertisements have created and disseminated an idealized representation of women, through patterns of behavior, public presentation, beauty stereotypes and beauty pageants, to guide women towards a prosperous marriage. During this configuration process, the women maintained strict behavior, reflecting them as distinguished ladies who stood out in turn by her strain and social participation. As a first step, we have studied the characterization of an idealized image of women, taking into account the guidance of parents, reinforcement in schools in the patterns of behavior, this behavior is expressing in meetings, respective participation in society, also, the involvement in society and spiritual values are observed as virtues that represented what a distinguished lady is configured an idealized representation of women in Bucaramanga. Thirdly, to examine ways of dressing and trends, health tips, beauty and care of their physical appearance which led to a distinguished lady exalted representation in the local press, and fourth, show a short track how was reflected in queens and local beauty pageants idealized image of women that was built by the press, to finally reach the maximum realization of a fine lady in marriage. This research is inserted into the field of historical research, it is important to note that the main concept of this research was that which corresponded to a distinguished woman, whom was followed up in local newspapers, complementing theoretically with Pierre Bourdieu, a sociologist French was concerned in the behavior and social practices and the impact of this in the same society.
